Update on Nikki & Brie Garcia’s Wrestling Future

It came from the source. It had been previously reported that the Bella Twins were officially leaving WWE for good and had rebranded themselves as Nikki and Brie Garcia. One of the main questions that has risen is the wrestling future, particularly when it comes to AEW. That question was answered today on Instagram Live, where Nikki confirmed that her and her sister would not be going to AEW. However, at some point a wrestler is no longer going to be champion for one reason of another, leaving them as a former title holder. There are few accomplishments that last forever and now another WWE star has received such an honor. Mysterio debuted in WWE in 2002 and has wrestled multiple stints with the promotion. Over the course of his career, he is a three time World Champion, won the 2006 Royal Rumble and won several other titles. Ring Of Honor Date: March 9, 2023 Location: Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman We’re still on the first taping of this new show so things are likely to look like they did last week. The wrestling itself was pretty good, but the length of the show was quite the drag. They did offer something big at the end with Eddie Kingston showing up to challenge Claudio Castagnoli, so there is at least a path forward in the main event. Let’s get to it. TV Title: Samoa Joe vs. Tony Deppen Joe is defending and works on the wrist to start. For some reason Deppen strikes away, earning himself a beating in the corner. Deppen fights back though and hits a running corner dropkick. A knee gives Deppen two more but Joe Rock Bottoms him out of the corner. Where Did He Go? Former AEW Champion Reportedly Not Backstage For Months

It’s been a bit. AEW has done quite a few things in its short history and a lot of the roster has been turned over throughout the years. Some wrestlers who were around at the start have since left for one reason or another, though some have just stopped appearing. That is the case with a former champion, who has not been around for a very long time for no apparent reason. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Bryan Danielson Says It’s Time To Go Home, Walks Out On AEW TV Earlier this week, former AEW TNT and Tag Team Champion Scorpio Sky commented on AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman throwing a drink at a young fan at Revolution. Sky said that it was “the smallest d*** energy imaginable”. According to Fightful Select, Sky has not been at AEW events in months and has rarely been seen since losing the TNT Title in July 2022. Having a stable allows for several wrestlers to be able to get television time at once, often through a shared goal or characteristic. Occasionally you will also see wrestlers who are thrown together with nothing else to do, and now we are seeing one such stable go their separate ways. Marshall said to keep an eye on the members of the team, including Lee Johnson, Cole Karter, Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto. There is no word on any backstage reason for the team being disbanded and nothing to suggest that any member is gone from the promotion. We did some fun stuff.
