He’s In: Active WWE Star Announced For Hall Of Fame Class Of 2023
He’s in. There are all kinds of honors to be won in WWE, with special matches and championships being among the accomplishments available. However, at some point a wrestler is no longer going to be champion for one reason of another, leaving them as a former title holder. There are few accomplishments that last forever and now another WWE star has received such an honor.

Rey Mysterio was announced as the first inductee to the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2023. Mysterio debuted in WWE in 2002 and has wrestled multiple stints with the promotion. Over the course of his career, he is a three time World Champion, won the 2006 Royal Rumble and won several other titles. Mysterio, 48, is one of only a handful of active wrestlers to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. There is no word on who will induct Mysterio.

Opinion: This one got my attention as I would not have bet on Mysterio going into the Hall of Fame. He is certainly a Hall of Fame worthy name and one of the biggest names of all time. Mysterio is probably the biggest luchador on the international stage and someone who has become a legend in his own time. Let him get his big moment, as his career almost has to be coming to a close.
