WWE star Sami Zayn has not entered the ring since competing in a Fatal 4-Way #1 Contenders Match at SummerSlam earlier this month, and there is a valid reason for his absence.
As per PWInsider.com, Zayn is currently dealing with a legitimate injury. In which he came face to face with CM Punk on SmackDown and stated that he has a broken bone in his hand, this follows his revelation during a stretch on WWE television. The report confirms that Zayn’s broken hand is not part of a storyline; the injury is real.
It remains unclear how severe the hand hurt is and how long it will keep Zayn out of action. Despite the injury, he still made an appearance on last week’s broadcast of WWE SmackDown.
