Triple H Making The Media Rounds In The UK
Triple H is doing the media circuit while in the UK for WWE’s current European Tour. He was on Good Morning Britain this morning, and spoke on a variety of topics, including facing off with The Rock one more time.
“Dwayne and I started our careers together, I’ve probably fought him more than anybody. I’ve said it before, I’d love to dance with ‘The Great One’ one more time.
He also spoke about the constant rumors about Conor McGregor making an appearance in WWE.
“Conor McGregor has said a lot of stuff about WWE in the past–I don’t have a problem with it because he said I was a Don, which is great–but he said a lot of stuff about our talent in the past. [If] Conor McGregor comes in, it’s not gonna be an easy go.”
As for Ronda Rousey, The Game said the following:
“She is very interested in our business, always has been a huge fan, that’s where the ‘Rowdy Ronda’ came from. I think she’s interested in the opportunity, I’m interested in offering her the opportunity, so we have some talking do.”
John Cena’s Softer Side
John Cena is currently on a hiatus from WWE, filming a movie, but he’s due back to be the special guest referee for the Jinder Mahal/Brock Lesnar match at Survivor Series later this month. In a recent interview, though, Cena spoke about his softer side and giving back through organizations like Make A Wish.
“The excitement, it’s indescribable. That I’m at the very end of the story, as the wish? That’s absurd to think about. We all have to earn a living, but if you can also affect people? That’s a good deal. It gives me the feeling like, yeah, I’m in the right place and I’m doing the right thing with my life.”
He also spoke about fiancée Nikki Bella helping him find that softer side of himself.
“In the WWE, oftentimes you want people to think, like, ‘Oh, I’m a tough guy.’ But now, I know “a tough guy is somebody who can hold a woman’s hand.”
