Impact Wrestling Results (11/2/17); Another Long-Time Employee Leaves Impact
Impact Wrestling put on their Bound For Glory go-home show tonight, tying up most of the loose ends leading into Sunday’s big show. Plus, we go more matches from Impact’s partners, including Border City Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Impact Wrestling Results
Allie & Rosemary defeated Sienna & KC Spinelli (match from Border City Wrestling).
Moose and Okabayashi defeated Nakajima and Kitamiya (match from Pro Wrestling NOAH).
Dezmond Xavier defeated Trevor Lee, Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams, Matt Sydal, & Garza Jr.
Johnny Impact & oVe defeated Eli Drake & LAX.
We also got word of another long-time Impact Wrestling employee leaving the company. Earlier today, we reported that both Brian Hebner and Robert King, referees for the promotion, were leaving the company. Tonight, referee Brian Stiffler announced on Twitter that he, too, is departing the promotion.
Got to main event one last time w/ @IMPACTWRESTLING!! Thanks for granting my release! Big THANKS to the locker room & crew for everything!!
— Brian Stiffler (@BrianStiffler) November 3, 2017
In comments given to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Stiffler gave further comments on his time in the company.
“I’m extraordinarily grateful for being given the opportunity to have worked with TNA/IMPACT for the past 13 years. I’ve learned and grew so much with the help of so many incredible people, including Brian and Earl Hebner (who also I became best friends with!!). The locker room is so unbelievably talented and passionate. And the crew has some of the hardest working men and women I’ve ever been around. As I leave, I wish them all nothing but continued success and all the best!!”
With these three departures, it appears that Impact only has one referee left, and that’s Earl Hebner.
