Cody Rhodes Extends Invitation To WWE & The McMahons

Pro wrestling is set to invade the San Antonio area in November for Survivor Series weekend. Ring Of Honor will also have a presence that weekend, with The Bullet Club and ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes heading the card. ROH put out the following message about their show on November 17th, the night before NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

Cody graciously offers free tickets to anyone with the name McMahon for the show.

“The company that I used to work for, they ignored all other companies, right? And then they stole all of my dad’s ideas. We want everyone to come to our show, including The McMahons. We are offering free tickets, comp tickets.”

Yes, this is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but in every joke, there’s a little bit of truth. When seemingly confronted with his supposed “bitterness” towards WWE, Cody had the following to say:

Jimmy Jacobs On His Role In WWE

Jimmy Jacobs, who exit from WWE came over a picture with members of The Bullet Club, did his first interview since leaving the company, and he doesn’t seem all that bothered with the new direction his life and career has taken.

“I love it. I didn’t mind the schedule, or the work. It was a seven day a week job, and it was a life and I didn’t mind it being a life. It wasn’t the schedule, but there’s a certain appreciation of having freedom. When I started my WWE job at 31, I took my earrings out because you are supposed to look nice. Before I went into work two weeks ago, I went and got my ears pierced again. Later that day I got fired. My point in saying that is I was ready to be me again.”
