WWE RAW Ratings, Viewership (10/16/17): Numbers Down Heading Into TLC
The WWE RAW ratings and viewership figures are in for this week’s show, and Monday’s episode of WWE’s flagship brand still wasn’t able to break that 3 million viewer ceiling for any hour of the show. This week’s show, which was the WWE TLC go-home episode of RAW and featured the full on Shield reunion, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman facing off in a steel cage, and the return of Kane, drew 2.688 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.871 million viewers.
This is not a good number for a PPV go-home episode of WWE’s top show. With all of the hoopla surrounding The Shield reuniting, you’d think more people would have tuned in to see the direction WWE was going to go with them, but I guess they found other things to do this week. And, the RAW ratings reflect that.
The hourly breakdown this week was as follows:
First Hour: 2.728 million viewers (3.008 million viewers last week)
Second Hour: 2.731 million viewers (2.894 million viewers last week)
Third Hour: 2.606 million viewers (2.711 million viewers last week)
RAW was #3 in viewership on cable for the night, falling behind the NFL on ESPN and the MLB on FOX. RAW was #6 in the 18-49 demographic on cable this week, falling behind the NFL, the MLB on FOX, a double dose of Love & Hip Hop, and SportsCenter. In the 18-49 demographic, RAW garnered a .90 cable rating for the night. This is down from last week’s .96 rating in the same demographic.
