Spoiler on Kairi Sane & The NXT Women’s Championship

It was announced at Thursday’s WWE NXT Tapings at Full Sail University that the company will hold a Fatal 4-Way at the upcoming NXT Takeover: Houston event. The winner of the match will leave the event as NXT Women’s Champion. Kairi Sane, who was the winner of the Mae Young Classic, was revealed as the first participant in the match. The two other participants were revealed in our spoiler report.

During the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez discussed the NXT Women’s Championship and the Fatal 4-Way match that will take place at Takeover: Houston and indicated that Kairi Sane probably won’t leave the event champion. The belief is that if the company wanted to put the NXT Women’s Championship on Kairi, they would have rewarded her the title at the Mae Young Classic instead of holding another match to determine a new champion.
