WWE RAW Ratings, Viewership (8/28/17): Numbers Drop This Week
The WWE RAW ratings and viewership figures are in for this week’s show, and Monday’s episode of WWE’s flagship show drew a slightly smaller audience that last week’s post-SummerSlam edition. Last night’s show, which featured a much-talked about contract signing between Roman Reigns and John Cena for No Mercy, a Battle Royal to crown the new #1 Contender for The Miz’s Intercontinental Title, and a main event featuring Alexa Bliss winning the RAW Women’s Title from Sasha Banks, drew 3.304 million viewers. This is down 2.9% from last week’s 3.404 million viewers, which was RAW’s largest audience since April.
The small drop this week has to be good news for WWE. They kept the majority of the audience they had for the post-SummerSlam episode and didn’t drop nearly as many viewers in the 3rd hour as they normally do.
The hourly breakdown this week was as follows:
First Hour: 3.384 million viewers (3.416 million viewers last week)
Second Hour: 3.364 million viewers (3.581 million viewers last week)
Third Hour: 3.163 million viewers (3.216 million viewers last week)
RAW was #1 in viewership and #1 in the 18-49 demographic for the night on cable. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, this weeks RAW garnered a 1.16 cable rating. This is up slightly from last week’s 1.15 rating in the same demographic.
