WWE SmackDown Live Preview (8/15/17): The Down & Dirty On Tonight’s Show

Sorry, boys and girls. My brain isn’t working right these days, and I forgot all about our WWE SmackDown Live preview for tonight’s show (and for last night’s RAW, too….whoops!!). I am striving for normalcy as of right now, so I promise to do better next week and get things back on track.

Anyways, let’s get to a down and dirty preview for tonight’s SummerSlam go-home edition of the blue brand.

John Cena and Jinder Mahal will face off in tonight’s main event. I am guessing that since Cena lost clean to Shinsuke Nakamura last week, he’s none too happy about being left out of the title picture at Sunday’s PPV. Let’s just hope that nothing squirrelly happens tonight to mess up Nakamura’s shot at SummerSlam.

AJ Styles is scheduled to apologize to Shane McMahon for kicking him upside the head last week, albeit inadvertently. I am guessing some shenanigans happen in the midst of all of this leading up to Shane’s playing referee in Styles’ US Title match with Kevin Owens on Sunday night.

Becky Lynch and Nattie will battle it out before Nattie heads to Brooklyn to get her shot at Naomi’s SmackDown Women’s Title, and I’m sure that our favorite Irish Lass Kicker will try to send Nattie into her title match with one weakened limb.

And, finally, Breezango will be headed to Fashion Peaks one last time, trying to figure everything out. I have about given up on aliens showing up, but with the way these thing go, nothing is out of the realm of possibility.

SmackDown Live airs on USA Network tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern, and as always, we will have a full recap of the show as soon as it’s in the books.
