Ronda Rousey At Mae Young Classic, Meets Triple H
Ronda Rousey attended the first taping of the WWE’s Mae Young Classic women’s tournament on Thursday evening. The UFC fighter was in attendance as friend Shayna Baszler, one of the “Four Horsewomen” in mixed martial arts along with Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, competed in the first round of the women’s tournament. In footage from WWE, Rousey arrived at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, and briefly met up with Triple H.
Rousey, sporting a “Macho Man” Randy Savage shirt, and Triple H can be heard discussing Baszler’s placing in the Mae Young Classic. The two athletes did have time to also take pictures.

Rousey also had a moment with SmackDown Live superstar Natalya, who was among many of the main roster superstars in attendance for the tapings.
Rousey was ringside for Baszler’s Mae Young Classic match. According to the WWE, Baszler’s match airs on Monday, August 28, exclusively on the WWE Network when the first four episodes of the tournament becomes available on-demand. Baszlar is among the 32 female competitors participating in the tournament, which includes Mia Yim, Toni Storm, Candice LeRae, and former WWE superstar Serena Deeb.
