WWE SmackDown Ratings, Viewership (7/11/17): Numbers Up Slightly This Week
The WWE SmackDown ratings data and viewership information is in for this week’s show, and the blue brand saw a slight increase in viewers compared to last week’s dismal July 4th episode. Tuesday’s show, which featured the fallout from AJ Styles’ surprise win of the US Title at MSG over the weekend, more drama in the Women’s Division, Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin in the match that didn’t quite happen, and a main event that saw John Cena team up with Styles to take on Rusev and Kevin Owens, drew 2.465 million viewers. This is up 6% from last week’s 2.329 million viewers.
This week’s increase in viewers is not all that surprising considering that it was not a holiday and the blue brand had little competition. Plus, with Battleground looming closer, fans are more than likely tuning in to see what SmackDown Live has in store for the PPV.
SmackDown Live was #3 in viewership, falling behind Hannity and Rachel Maddow, and #1 in the 18-49 demographic on cable this week. In th 18-49 demographic, Tuesday’s episode garnered a .76 cable rating. This is pretty much the same as the .75 the show drew in the same demographic last week.
