WWE Money In The Bank 2017 Gets Its Men

Participants for next month’s Money In The Bank ladder match have been named, as has the WWE Title Match for that pay per view.

In the opening segment of tonight’s SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon announced that Randy Orton has invoked his rematch clause and will challenge new WWE Champion Jinder Mahal at Money In The Bank, which takes place in Orton’s hometown of St. Louis. Mahal of course beat Orton at Backlash just two nights ago. There was no mention whatsoever of Rusev, so it appears that storyline has been officially dropped (for now).

In that same segment, McMahon also named the six participants for the actual MITB ladder match: AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, and United States Champion Kevin Owens. Initially, MITB was set to be a five-man affair, but Owens protested his way into the match.

Rumors of the first-ever women’s Money In The Bank ladder match are also abound.

Who Attacked Enzo?

411Wrestling passed along an interesting tidbit regarding the angle on RAW in which Enzo Amore was left laying by a mystery assailant.

A background appearance in a Raw segment from last night has caused speculation on the possible identity of Enzo Amore’s attackers during the episode. As you can see in the below video, the Revival walked into the hallway in the background during Sasha Banks’ backstage interview and off through a doorway. The team has been off television due to Dash Wilder sustaining a fractured jaw.

Wilder’s prognosis at the time was that he would be out for about eight weeks. This would suggest a possible return around June 17th. It must be noted that there is no confirmation that the two segments are related of course and this is all speculation right now.

Of course, it also could wind up being Big Cass as it’s no secret that Vince McMahon sees a performer with that kind of size as a potential singles star.
