On The Injured List: AEW Star Out 5-6 Weeks With Foot Injury, Possibly Longer
It can happen to anyone. Injuries are one of the great equalizers in wrestling as any wrestler can get hurt and put on the shelf at any time. You never want to see someone get hurt and left out of the ring for any amount of time, as their time on the injured list could go on for awhile. Now another AEW star has revealed that he is hurt, but he has an idea of how long he will be out.

AEW’s Fuego del Sol has announced that he suffered a foot injury during a match in Sacramento, California last Sunday. The injury took place when del Sol hit a dropkick but his opponent landed on him, resulting in a dislocated foot. The foot was popped back into place during the match, but damage was still done. Del Sol also suffered a small fracture near his toe. He is expected to miss five to six weeks of action, though any possible ligament damage could extend his time up to about three months.

Opinion: That’s never good to hear as any type of injury is a bad one. Del Sol has carved out a niche for himself in AEW and thankfully he does not seem likely to miss a very long period of time. A foot injury is the kind of thing that has to be taken care of properly as it could slow someone down for a long time. Del Sol being a high flier makes it even more important, but thankfully he seems to understand that.
How has del Sol done in AEW so far? How should he be used there? Let us know in the comments below.
