United States Championship Match Set For Raw This Monday

The champion never stops. WWE United States Champion Austin Theory successfully defended his championship at the 2023 Elimination Chamber premium live event. However, it didn’t take long for his next challenger to be known.

Following the event, WWE held its post-show press conference, with a number of guests. The first guest was Theory, who announced that he would be issuing an open challenge to anyone for his championship this coming Monday night on Raw. Immediately after that, Edge and Beth Phoenix took the stage and, after answering questions from the media, The Rated R Superstar took the opportunity to answer Theory’s challenge, setting up a match between the two.

Edge and Phoenix were victorious in their match against The Judgement Day earlier in the evening.

I like this pairing very much. Raw is emanating from Canada this week, so to see Edge have the opportunity to compete for a championship in his home country is a very cool thing. This also gives an opportunity for WWE to find a way to begin the build for Theory’s opponent at WrestleMania. Overall, this will be a great match and it will be fun to watch!
