One More: 51 Year Old Former World Champion Announces Planned Return To The Ring
He’s a big one. There are certain wrestlers who get your attention due to nothing more than how they look. AEW’s Paul Wight, formerly known as the Big Show in WWE, was interviewed by Metro UK and spoke about a planned return to the ring. Wight said that he had been planning to return but had some setbacks due to injuries, including a knee replacement last August. With that out of the way, Wight, 51 years old, revealed that he is hoping to return to the ring in March. There were no details on who or where Wight would wrestle. Wight has only wrestled four times in about a year and a half with AEW, last wrestling in March 2022.

Opinion: This is one of those drawing cards that you get to see every now and then as Wight is still a special attraction. He is a legend in his own time and someone who can appear in a match and feel like an attraction. If nothing else, letting the fans get to see someone they haven’t seen in a long time might help draw in more fans, which could make for a bigger crowd.
