Try Again: Former World Champion Likely Making WWE Return In January
Welcome back. There have been a lot of changes to the WWE roster this year as several wrestlers have been brought back to the company after lengthy absences. This has mainly been due to the change in regime, as Triple H now has a major hand in running the company. That means many names Triple H championed in NXT are back, and now another seems ready to join the list.

According to a PWInsider.com Q&A, Eric Young is not only on the way back to WWE but is expected to return at some point in 2023. Young, 43, wrestled in WWE from 2016-2020, becoming an NXT Tag Team Champion. Since leaving, Young returned to Impact Wrestling and won the World Title for the second time. While there has been speculation that Young could portray Bray Wyatt’s Uncle Howdy, there is no word on that specifically be the case. Howdy has appeared in the ring arena, but that does not mean the same person will portray him in the ring.
Young did well in WWE. Check out some of his time there:

Opinion: Young returning to WWE would make a lot of sense and I’m surprised he isn’t back yet. He always seemed to be a favorite of Triple H but never got a real chance to shine on the main roster. Let him show what he can do and maybe we can be in for something good. Either way, WWE’s roster evolution continues and that makes for some a very interesting new reality.
What do you think of Young? How should he be used in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
