Import: WWE Considers Bringing In Other Company’s Champion For Royal Rumble

She’s a name. We are just over two weeks away from the end of the year and that means it is time to start getting ready for the start of the Road To WrestleMania 39. The first step in that process is going to be the Royal Rumble, where several stars are going to be needed to fill in the show’s namesake matches. You will often see names from outside the company popping in, and now we might be set for another one.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, New Japan’s Kairi (formerly known as Kairi Sane in WWE) is rumored to be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match. However, this plan may have changed as Sane is now the IWGP Women’s Champion. WWE has brought in talent from other promotions before, as Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James competed in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, with Impact Wrestling being acknowledged on the broadcast.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes the Royal Rumble so much fun, as you never know what kind of names WWE might bring back for one of the biggest nights of the year. Sane is someone who would be a very nice surprise and was around recently enough that she still has some name recognition. Bring her back in if you can and let the fans have some fun with the match.
