WATCH: Surprise Name Completes Men’s WarGames Match On SmackDown

He’s up next. We are less than eight days away from Survivor Series, which will feature the first WarGames matches on a main WWE roster show. There will be two WarGames matches on the show, with a men’s and women’s edition. Most of the women’s match is already set, but this week, the men’s match was not only made official, but the field was officially completed.

This week on SmackDown, the Men’s WarGames match was confirmed as the Bloodline vs. Drew McIntyre, the Brawling Brutes and a mystery partner. At the end of the show, Kevin Owens was revealed as the third man as he helped the rest of the team in a brawl against the Bloodline. WWE.com later confirmed that Owens will be the final entrant, despite Owens suffering a knee injury earlier this month.

Opinion: Owens was the name that you would have probably guessed at first, but it is more than a little surprising when he suffered his knee injury earlier this month. That being said, I can absolutely go with Owens as the fifth man, as he already has issues with Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns, so there is a lot written in as soon as the match was made. This should be a heck of a match and that is what they seem to be planning for as it is being set up.
