Ouch: SmackDown Star Out Of Action Three Months Following Surgery

That’s a long time. There are all kinds of injuries that can slow down a wrestler’s career. You never know when you are going to see someone put on the sidelines with something that comes out of absolutely nowhere but it does happen occasionally. That is the situation with a WWE star, who suffered an injury that might not seem serious but is going to keep her out of action for a good while.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Natalya will be out of action for a minimum of three months due to surgery to repair a dislocated nose. Natalya suffered the injury during last week’s SmackDown in a match against Shayna Baszler but because it was not broken, she was able to work last week’s European tour. Her nose will be the same shape and her reported breathing problems have been fixed as well.

It was a rough match. Check out Natalya vs. Baszler:

Opinion: That could be a lot worse but three months is a long time for a nose to heal. At least Natalya has gotten the surgery and everything seemed to be ok, but now it is a matter of waiting. The good thing is that Natalya will be fine when she comes back, as this seemed to come off a fluke accident rather than anything long term. Just let her heal up and come back, which should work out just fine.
