Hangman Adam Page Seriously Injured on AEW Dynamite

You hate to see it. The main event of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Jon Moxley defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Hangman Adam Page. Unfortunately, the match had to be stopped due to a serious injury suffered by Page during the match.

Page landed on his head after a spot in which he took a lariat from Moxley. As soon as Page hit the ground, his body seemed to go limp and he wasn’t able to move. The referee and ringside doctor, Doc Sampson made the decision to stop the match with about 10 minutes remaining on the show.

During a commercial break, several officials took down the ropes in order to take out Page on a stretcher. You can see a clip of that below:

Several media outlets are reporting that this was not the planned finish for the match and that this is a legitimate injury that took place. This situation is similar to what happened to Big E earlier this year.

We will continue to monitor this situation and provide any updates as they made are available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

You just hate to see this happen. Page is such a talented wrestler and all of us wish him nothing but the best as he navigates this injury. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious and we see him back in action really soon.
