WATCH: The Rock Producing New Wrestling Documentary Series (TRAILER)

That’s a new twist. Wrestling media has been changing a lot in recent years as more and more stories have been presented in one way or another. This has come in the form of books, films and television series, many of which are telling stories that have not been heard in a long time. Now we are in for another one which certainly sounds like it has some promise.

According to Variety, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions will be producing a new wrestling documentary series called Tales From The Territories. The series will be from the same team that made Dark Side Of The Ring and will focus on stories from the territory days of wrestling. There is no word on what any episodes will cover. The series will debut on October 4 at 10PM EST on VICE TV.

This has potential. Check out the trailer for the series:

Opinion: This is something that has some serious potential as Dark Side Of The Ring was a great series. I’m curious to see where they go with some of these episodes, as there are so many stories that could be told from the wrestling world. The producers make it even better, as Johnson is the kind of guy who is going to make sure that the stories are told in a respectful manner.
