WWE News: Huge Update on Goldberg’s Future in WWE
Bill Goldberg made his return to the WWE near the Survivor Series pay-per-view. In the years before, Goldberg talked negatively about WWE and it seemed as if the dream of Goldberg competing again inside the squared circle of WWE was impossible, until Vincent Kennedy McMahon (Vince McMahon) came to him and offered a deal that he couldn’t refuse. On top of that, was the fact that Goldberg’s son never got to see him wrestle, so that turned into a priority for The Icon!
At the Survivor Series PPV, ‘The Icon’ Goldberg caused one of the biggest upsets in pro wrestling history when he defeated ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar in less than two minutes. It sent shockwaves across the entire WWE Universe and even beyond.
Brock Lesnar till then, conquered and decimated everything that came into his path in WWE and even became ‘The Conqueror’ of the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
The night after his huge victory against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, he addressed the WWE Universe. It was only believed that he’d come back for one more match and depart. Then, Goldberg showed up on Raw. Via Backstage Reports, it was confirmed that he signed on to compete at more than just Survivor Series. He revealed that he would be appearing in the 30-man Royal Rumble match.
Then, ‘The Advocate’ Paul Heyman publicly said that ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar will compete in the Rumble match as well. A latest report by ‘Ringside News’ highlights the details about Goldberg’s future.
“Regarding how many dates Goldberg signed for, we have been informed that he has signed for thirteen appearances with the company heading into WrestleMania season. Those appearances include three matches as well – one being the Rumble Battle Royal and a rematch against Brock Lesnar that is rumored for WrestleMania 33.”
It’s very interesting to see how Goldberg’s schedule takes shape leading up to the Royal Rumble. He will, without a shadow of a doubt, appear on Monday Night RAW (at least once) and promote the event.
