Stick Around: AEW Signs Star To Multi-Year Extension

He’s in for the long haul. Despite everything that the company has accomplished so far, AEW has not been around for very long. We are still coming up on the three year anniversary of the company’s first show and there have been several roster changes since the debut. Now though, one wrestler is going to be sticking around after signing a new contract with the company.

According to Fightful Select, AEW has signed Ethan Page to a long term extension with the company, with the deal being made at some point last year. The terms of the deal were not disclosed but it is expected to be a multiple year deal. Page debuted with the company in March 2021 and has become part of the Men of the Year stable along with Dan Lambert and Scorpio Sky.

Opinion: Page might not be the biggest star in AEW but he is someone worth keeping around. AEW needs young stars who can be there in the coming years and that is what they are covering here. It is a good idea and something that seems to make both sides happy, so it is nice to see here. Page is someone who hasn’t had the chance to break out yet and this locks him up in AEW long enough to have the chance to do so in the future, which is something nice to look forward to.

What do you think of Page? What should he do next in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
