Update On The Return Status For Some Long Injured WWE Stars

WWE has a plan for them. We are a month away from WrestleMania 38 and the show is starting to come together. The show already has a few matches set but there are still several spots that need to be filled. That means WWE is going to need some stars to fill in those gaps, but the roster is a bit thin at the moment. It would help to have some returns, and now we know a bit about what to expect from some missing wrestlers.

PWInsider.com has updates on the statuses of three wrestlers who are either missing or not currently booked for WrestleMania. First up, Alexa Bliss, who returned to the ring at Elimination Chamber, is not expected to start her next storyline until after WrestleMania 38. Bliss did not appear on this week’s Monday Night Raw, which was held in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

Second, Asuka is medically cleared to return to the ring and is waiting for WWE to come up with a storyline for her. Asuka has not wrestled since Money In The Bank 2021 due to having elbow surgery. Finally, Bayley is not expected to return to television until after WrestleMania. She has been out of action since June 2021 after suffering a torn ACL. There is no word on what she will be doing when she returns.

Opinion: I get the thinking here, though I’m not sure how well things are going to go for the women’s divisions as a result. It makes sense to not bring these people back just before WrestleMania, but all three of them could be put into a storyline immediately due to their status alone. Maybe they can find something for them after WrestleMania, but WWE doesn’t exactly give me the most hope.

What should happen when these three are back full time? Who has the brightest future? Let us know in the comments below.
