WWE Star Hosting Upcoming Gaming Competition Show

It’s a gig. Wrestling is a weird sport as it can be hard to get out of the industry. Unfortunately you see a lot of wrestlers who do not have much of an exit plan and are often in some trouble after retiring. The good thing is that you see a variety of wrestlers who have something else to do after wrestling is over, and now a current wrestler is moving in the direction of a new career.

WWE has announced that it is partnering with the soon to relaunch G4 network for a yet to be titled video game competition series. The series will be hosted by Xavier Woods and will feature various gamers facing off to “settle scores with actual scores.” In addition, Woods will be hosting The Catastrophic Launch Spectacular, which will air later this week and feature a look at the upcoming series on G4.

Woods can do a lot of things. Check out his time in gaming and in/out of the ring:

Opinion: Just the fact that Woods is branching out like this is great to see. I have no idea how far he can go with something like this but adding more and more items to a resume is going to make a big impact if he ever needs to do something outside of wrestling. This shows he can do something other than wrestle and it is good to see that he is already doing well.

What do you think of the show? How will Woods do as a host? Let us know in the comments below.
