WWE Releases 2022 Pay Per View Schedule With Some Unique Changes

Mark your calendars. WWE has a lot of events on its schedule and several of them are among the biggest wrestling shows of the year. The shows often go to some of the biggest cities in the country and it can be interesting to see what the company has planned at any given time. Now we know a good bit more about what WWE has planned for most of the next year.

WWE has announced most of its 2022 pay per view schedule, which includes several new events that had not been revealed before. The schedule includes four stadium shows, including one that had yet to be announced. There are also two pay per views without full details, including a June 5 event at Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois and an event on September 3 or 4 at a location to be determined. Here is the schedule:

– Saturday, January 1 – Day 1® at State Farm Arena in Atlanta
– Saturday, January 29 – Royal Rumble® at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis
– Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 – WrestleMania at AT&T Stadium in Dallas
– Sunday, May 8 – Pay-Per-View at Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.
– Sunday, June 5 – Pay-Per-View at Allstate Arena in Chicago
– Saturday, July 2 – Money In The Bank® at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas
– Saturday, July 30 – SummerSlam® at Nissan Stadium in Nashville
– Saturday, September 3 or Sunday, September 4 – Pay-Per-View at TBD location
– Saturday, November 26 – Survivor Series® at TD Garden in Boston

There will also be additional events announced in February and October. These are months when WWE has traditionally gone to Saudi Arabia, though this has not been confirmed.

Opinion: There are some interesting announcements on this list and I’m excited for some of the shows. The amount of stadium shows is interesting, as WWE rarely goes to a stadium more than once or twice a year. It makes things feel that much bigger, and I’m curious to see how well they can pull it off. Hopefully this works out, because WWE has put up quite the schedule.
