New Title Match Set For AEW Full Gear

Keep it growing. We are less than a month away from AEW’s next pay per view event and that means it is time for the card to be put together. There are a few matches announced for the card but there are several spots left to fill in before we get to the pay per view. AEW knows that they need to solve the problem and they started doing that this week during Dynamite.

A new title match was set for AEW Full Gear during this week’s edition of Dynamite, as Women’s Champion Britt Baker agreed to defend her title against Tay Conti. This comes after Conti saved her friend Anna Jay from an attack at Baker’s hands and held up the Women’s Title on Rampage. This will be Conti’s second shot at the title, as Hikaru Shida defeated her in a title match on April 21, 2021.

They have some history together. Check how we got here, plus both of them in action:

Opinion: This is the match you had to know was coming and it is something that could get interesting in a hurry. Conti has seemed to be a major project for AEW and it would not surprise me to see her getting a serious push. I’m not sure if she is going to win the title, but it is certainly going to be worth a look. The match should be an entertaining one and pay per view worthy, which is what matters most.

What do you expect from the match? What is next for both of them? Let us know in the comments below.
