VIDEO: AEW Star Takes Shots At NXT And SmackDown After Dynamite

A shot across the bow(ens). There are a lot of ways to get attention in wrestling and one of the easiest is by using a microphone. A wrestling cutting a promo can instantly get extra eyes on them because it can be done so quickly. Some wrestlers are excellent on a microphone and can get people listening to them in a hurry. That was the case again this week with some lines that will get people talking.

AEW President Tony Khan made an appearance after this week’s edition of Dynamite went off the air. Khan was interrupted by the Acclaimed, with Max Caster delivering another rap. Caster threatened to beat Khan like AEW beat NXT in the ratings and said that the team could wrestle and were better than Top Dolla, referencing the former NXT star who is part of the Hit Row stable.

This is going to get some attention. Check out what Caster said, plus the Acclaimed and Hit Row in action:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes the Acclaimed stand out, as Caster is quite good with his lyrics. They are going to get attention, and taking shots at NXT is something that AEW has done more than once in the past. It is still weird to hear other companies referenced, but for a moment that was not going to make television, it was quite the well timed shot.
