You Might Not Be Seeing Goldberg In WWE That Much More

The countdown is on. There are certain wrestlers on the WWE roster who are not going to show up every single week. WWE brings in a few wrestlers only for special appearances, which can make for some pretty cool moments. As a result, it can feel like a big deal when you get to see them around, and now we know how many more times we are going to get to see one of the big legends.

Goldberg was the guest on this week’s edition of the Bump to promote his match against WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at Summerslam. During the interview, Goldberg mentioned that he only has two matches left on his current WWE contract. This would mean that he has one remaining match after his match on Saturday. There is no word on if WWE will be signing him to a new deal. Since returning to WWE in 2016, Goldberg has wrestled nine matches, often wrestling twice a year.

Goldberg has been a force since he came back. Check out some of his recent matches:

Opinion: It would not surprise me to see Goldberg sticking around for a long time as he wrestles short matches and WWE certainly seems to like having him around. Yes he is expensive, but if he can bring in some money and eyes to the shows, he is worth bringing back in. There are not many stars of his caliber and it would make sense to have him around for his short form appearances.

Will Goldberg re-sign with WWE? Do you want him to? Let us know in the comments below.
