Nick Gage Makes His Debut In AEW

The roster continues to grow. AEW has added a number of new talent to its roster as of late, including Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black. Tonight, on Dynamite: Fyter Fest Part 2, the roster grew by one more as Nick Gage made his debut.

MJF introduced him as Chris Jericho’s opponent for a No Rules match on next week’s show. This is the second in his 5 Labors of Jericho series.

Gage currently works for Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), where he is the current GCW World Champion in his second reign. He is the only man to win the “big three” of deathmatch tournaments: the Tournament of Death, the King of the Deathmatch, and GCW’s Tournament of Survival.

Gage had his own episode of Dark Side of the Ring; hear what Jim Cornette had to say about that episode:

Editor’s Opinion:

I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about this guy. However, after reading about him and hearing about some of the struggles that he’s had in his life, I immediately have two thoughts. First, I’m glad that he is getting a chance to be highlighted on a major wrestling promotion as he seems to have a cult following. That being said, his style of wrestling isn’t my cup of tea, but it seems to fit into what AEW is going for, so this may work.
