Problems Continue Between Retribution After Monday Night Raw

Things aren’t looking great. Stables are an interesting way to go in wrestling as there are great at giving a lot of people screen time at once. Sometimes you are going to have wrestlers who cannot get somewhere on their own so putting them together makes sense. That was the case in theory with a recent Monday Night Raw stable, but things are already falling apart.

Debuting back in August, Retribution has had quite the rocky history. The team never felt like it had the most logical or clear direction and the members did not exactly receive the strongest pushes. Adding Mustafa Ali as the leader helped somewhat, but did not solve all of the problems. Those problems still abound to this day and now we might be seeing them overwhelm the team.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Ali vented his frustrations with the team after another loss. The following day, other members of the team complained as well, with some of the complaints directed at Ali himself. Reckoning asked how much longer they would have to deal with this while the rest of the team defended themselves and questions Ali’s leadership. Ali himself said that there was a difference between a bad driver and bad directions.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m overly surprised this time around as Retribution has barely survived this long and it’s not like they have had any significant success. At some point the team was going to have to do something and with that not really happening, splitting up might be the right idea. They’re just kind of around at this point and that’s rarely a good place to be.
