AEW Star Reveals Injury Has Kept Him Out For Weeks
It happens to everyone. There are a lot of different wrestlers and wrestling promotions in the world today and some of them are a good bit higher profile than others. AEW is near the top of the list both in America and the world today and a lot of that is due to their roster. The company has some great wrestlers and now one more of them will be able to get back in the ring.
One of the best things a wrestling company can have is a wrestler who can work with anyone. Having someone so versatile can help quite a bit as you can put them with any kind of opponent and get a perfectly fine, if not rather good, match. AEW has quite a few such wrestlers and soon they are going to have another now that he is healthy after an injury.
Former AEW Tag Team Champion Scorpio Sky sent out a tweet where he revealed that he would be wrestling his first match in six weeks after suffering a torn meniscus. Sky said that he was shaking off the ring rust off and getting ready to return to the ring. During this week’s AEW Dynamite, Sky was announced as one of three participants in the Face of the Revolution ladder match, along with Cody Rhodes and Penta El Zero Miedo.
I’ve only had 4 matches in 5 months and the last 6 weeks I’ve been sidelined with a torn meniscus. Needless to say ring rust is life right now lol. But I’m happy to be back in a feature spot, and on PPV! https://t.co/DKJ6divkl0

Opinion: It’s great to hear that Sky is back because that kind of a knee injury can be rather nasty. At the same time, it’s going to be rather nice to see that Sky is back in the ring because he really is one of the better looking wrestlers in AEW. Hopefully he gets to do be presented on a big stage as he has almost gotten there several times before. Now that he’s healthy, I’m not sure what else should be stopping him.
