Vince Russo’s The Brand Recap – Taking Advantage of Wrestling Wives, Bring it to the Table, Big Cass A Big Slug? More!

Russo is joined on today’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane.

Lane presents a clip of Wade Keller, who admits that some of the best information he gets doesn’t come from wrestlers, it comes from the wives of wrestlers who are lonely and are willing to have a conversation with him. Russo thinks this is absolutely disgusting and very creepy.

Russo says that taking advantage of lonely women who are away from their husbands most of the year is not a professional way to get your information, and there’s no guarantee the information is reliable. If there are any issues between the husband and wife, maybe the wife will be out to get her husband and give Keller false information in order to hurt him.

Even if this is the way you get your information, why in God’s name would you admit this? Anyone with any common sense would be turned off by this, and if the wrestlers ever found out that Keller is doing this they’d lose their minds.

A fan tweeted Dave Meltzer this past week asking him if he’s ever been invited to come on Russo’s show. Meltzer says he has never been invited, but there are standards and this show is well below his. Russo laughs and says he has given Meltzer a personal invitation to come on this show multiple times, and he even sent a personal email invitation at one point. He urges Meltzer to stop lying.
