It would appear that more may be on the way. According to a report from Fightful Select, Chelsea Green has been under contract with WWE “for quite some time and is still awaiting creative.” This was after she was released from the company on April 15, 2021. Another indication that Green was headed to WWE was her recently shutting down her Onlyfans page. Putting the right people together can make for some great moments, but having the wrong combination can do quite a bit of damage. According to Fightful Select, WWE originally planned for Scarlett to manage Damian Priest when the two were in NXT. However, this pairing never came together as Priest did not feel it was a good fit for him. Instead, Scarlett was held back until her future husband Karrion Kross came to NXT when she was paired with him. Welcome back. Over the last few years, WWE has released or let go dozens and dozens of wrestlers from its active roster, with the majority being attributed to budget cuts. Since Vince McMahon has retired though, several of those names have returned to the company in one way or another. That is the case again, as another name is being brought back in an entirely new role. This week on SmackDown, a vignette aired hinting at the return of the Viking Raiders. At the end of the vignette, a female voice was heard but no one was seen. According to Fightful Select, the segment was designed to re-introduce Sarah Logan, who is married to Erik and was released from WWE in 2020. Logan returned to WWE in a one night appearance at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Opinion: Cool. Welcome back to the family. WWE has been shaken up in a lot of ways in recent months, both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. One of the biggest changes has been due to the amount of wrestlers who have been brought back. That can make for some very exciting television and WWE did it again this week, with a surprise return and debut taking place at the same time. This week on Monday Night Raw, Candice LeRae made her return to the company and main roster debut, defeating Nikki Ash. LeRae had been absent from WWE since late 2021 as she went on maternity leave. Her contract expired in May of this year and she chose not to renew it. LeRae’s husband Johnny Gargano is also on the Monday Night Raw roster, having returned to the company last month. Please don’t be bad. Injuries are one of the worst things that you can see happen in wrestling. Not only can they stop a storyline or a match from continuing as planned, but much more importantly they can put someone in a bad spot in the short and long term. Controversial Star Returning To Wrestling After Nearly Two Year Absence
Welcome back? While WWE and AEW get most of the attention, there are a lot of other talented wrestlers performing elsewhere. That can open the door for a lot of fans to see stars that they new knew before, but sometimes these other promotions have stars that you have seen somewhere before. It seems to be the case again, and now a seemingly blackballed star is on her way back. Hurricane Pro Wrestling in Beaumont, Texas has announced that Tessa Blanchard will be appearing at their event on July 16. There is no word on what Blanchard will be doing on the show, though she is featured in the center of the post. Blanchard has not wrestled since September 12, 2020 for Warrior Wrestling. I know you! WWE and AEW are the two most popular and successful wrestling promotions in the United States and nothing else is really in the same ballpark at the moment.
