Raw 4/9 Viewership Keeps Rising; Averages 4 Million For Two Hours

Raw after WrestleMania 34 improved ratings on top of a good month of viewership in March.
The Raw after WrestleMania performed better than any other episode in recent years outside of the 25th Anniversary of Raw. According to ShowBuzz Daily, Raw averaged more than 4 million viewers for the first two hours and dipped to 3.5 million viewers in the third hour. This comes after a straight month of all three hours averaging more than 3 million viewers.
Hour 1: 4,069,000 viewers with 1.5 million in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Hour 2: 4,098,000 viewers with 1.49 million in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Hour 3: 3,597,000 viewers with 1.40 million in the 18-49 year old demographic.
Raw out performed every other original cable show in both viewership and the 18 to 49 year old demographic. News shows like Sean Hannity and Rachel Maddow have beat Raw in recent weeks in viewership but not this week.

“Rowdy” Ronda is ready to unwind following an eventful weekend.
Two days ago former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey made her pro wrestling debut at the biggest show of the year for the WWE. Ronda teamed up with current RAW GM and WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle to take on The Authority Triple H & Stephanie McMahon. There were many eyes on “Rowdy” Ronda as the anticipation for her debut was like none other, but at the conclusion of it a massive number of fans and those who have made a great name for themselves in the business praised Rousey for her efforts at WrestleMania 34.

Paige is now Smackdown General Manager.
At the beginning of Smackdown, Shane McMahon came to the ring to discuss WrestleMania 34 but also replace former Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan who has returned to actively wrestling. He said he has a new General Manager and not even twenty four hours after announcing her retirement on Raw, Paige was introduced as Smackdown General Manager.

“The Queen” Charlotte Flair was riding high coming into tonight's SmackDown Live as she ended Asuka's two-year undefeated streak this past Sunday at WrestleMania 34. United States Championship Match Set For WWE Backlash

Randy Orton has his chance to win his championship back from Jinder Mahal.
At WrestleMania 34, Jinder Mahal pinned Rusev in a fatal four way match to win the WWE United States Championship from Randy Orton. On the very next episode of Smackdown, Orton defeated Bobby Roode and Rusev in a triple threat match to earn a championship match at WWE Backlash.

Backlash will the the first co-branded pay-per-view as WWE moves to doing that full-time. There has already been a match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe scheduled for Backlash.
Last year, Orton and Mahal had a series of matches for the WWE Championship including the Punjabi Prison match at WWE Battleground. They also faced each other at Backlash in 2017.
It should be considered that next week is the Superstar Shakeup and wrestlers will be changing brands and last year's Superstar Shakeup saw two champions change brand..

Liv Morgan Speaks On Her Upbringing, Her Time In NXT, And Talks Wanting To Become SmackDown Live Women’s Champion

Liv Morgan is ready for the world.
New Jersey's own Liv Morgan has made it to the promise land after an not so ideal upbringing. At 21 years old Morgan was signed to the NXT brand and while speaking with her hometown news publication NorthJersey.com, Morgan shared her thoughts on her time with the yellow-and-black brand.
“I spent three years in NXT doing whatever I could to be better and be noticed,” Morgan says. “It was a lot of hard work and proving yourself. So, I don’t want to say it was quick. Looking back, it feels like it was a blink of an eye and it’s amazing. It’s been amazing to come from WWE Performance Center and now to be on SmackDown Live. Thinking about that itself is insane, because it doesn’t feel real.”
