Welcome Home: Another Monday Night Raw Star Set For NXT Return

It’s a homecoming. NXT has been a complete game changer for WWE, as the company has its own developmental system, which happens to air on national television. As a result, NXT stars have become big deals in their own right, with the show having a legacy of its own. That includes names from before NXT went national, but now one of them will be appearing on the bigger version of the show.

WWE has announced that Bayley will be appearing on this week’s edition of NXT for a special edition of her Ding Dong Hello show, featuring Toxic Attraction as her guests. Bayley is a former NXT Women’s Champion and member of the Four Horsewomen who helped establish the NXT women’s division before NXT began airing on television. It’s A Way Out: Speculation Over How WWE Could Solve Tag Team Titles Dilemma

It’s a family thing. Tag team wrestling has been undergoing a bit of a resurgence in WWE as of late, with more teams being formed and a more competitive division overall. While this has been going on, the Usos have reigned on high as one of the most dominant teams in WWE history. However, a change in plans might require someone else in the family to step in for a change.
At the Royal Rumble, the Bloodline attacked Sami Zayn but Jey Uso refused to get involved, resulting in Uso not appearing this week on SmackDown. The Usos have a Tag Team Title defense scheduled against Braun Strowman and Ricochet next week on SmackDown, though there is doubt over whether Jey will team with his brother Jimmy. During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated (rather than reported) that WWE could have the Usos’ brother Solo Sikoa team with Jimmy in Jey’s place. Jimmy and Sikoa teamed together this week in a dark match after SmackDown. Jey is still scheduled for the title matc..

Grayson Waller Confronts Shawn Michaels On Media Conference Call

Nowhere is safe anymore. Following last night’s NXT: Vengeance Day premium live event, Shawn Michaels did a media conference call to discuss the show. However, he was not alone, as Grayson Waller decided to make his feelings known.
Waller interrupted Michaels during the call and shared his frustrations about not being HBK’s guy. Waller felt that Carmelo Hayes has taken that place, as was shown in the final moments of the show. Matt Bloom ended up entering the room and removed Waller before he took things too far.
You can see the conference call below:

Delayed: WWE Star Dealing With Visa Issues, Causes Him To Major Show

That’s a problem. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to miss time, and some of them have to do with legal troubles. That can range from being in trouble to having to take care of an issue, but either version can keep someone on the sidelines. That is the current situation with a new WWE star, as some legal issues are preventing him from being able to debut.

Vengeance Day 2023
Date: February 4, 2023
Location: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, North Carolina
Commentators: Vic Joseph, Booker T.
NXT is back on the road for the first time since Stand & Deliver all the way back in the spring. That is something that could do a lot of good for NXT and the card is pretty stacked as well. We have a bunch of title matches here, capped off by Bron Breakker defending the NXT Title against Grayson Waller inside a cage. Let’s get to it.
Charlotte hosts the opening video, which features all of the wrestlers coming into what looks like a mini arena (probably at the Performance Center) and staring each other down.
Commentary says they are on the road for the first time since they took over Portland over 1,000 days ago.

WRESTLING RUMORS: The Usos Are Likely To Miss Elimination Chamber

It’s a situation. WWE is an international wrestling promotion which runs events around the world. This has become even more prevalent in recent years and continues to be so to this day. Every year the company heads to Saudi Arabia for multiple shows, along with other international events. That will be the case again later this month, but two prominent names are not likely to be there.

On February 18, WWE will present its annual Elimination Chamber event from the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event will be headlined by an Undisputed WWE Universal Title match between Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns. The story has been part of the Bloodline saga, which has involved the Usos. However, according to Wrestlingnews.co, the Usos are unlikely to be allowed into Canada due to their history of DUI incidents. There is no word on how the Usos’ absence would be explained.

Ouch! There are all kinds of injuries in the wrestling world and some of them can come out of nowhere. Some of the worst instances of this involve injuries that are obvious to anyone watching, which was the case again this weekend with a nasty looking situation.

They Went At It: Another AEW Backstage Scuffle Revealed

It happens. With so many wrestlers around the AEW locker room there are bound to be two of them who do not get along for one reason or another. It might be a longstanding issue or it might be something that pops up out of nowhere. The latter was true in this situation, as we now know about two AEW stars who had a physical altercation after something went wrong.

It was a busy night. Title changes are one of the most important things that you can see at a wrestling event. A new champion being crowned marks a changing of the guard, as you have someone else becoming one of the to stars in a promotion. There were two title changes over the weekend at NXT Vengeance Day. First up, Fallon Henley and Kiana James defeated Kayden Carter and Katana Chance to become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. The win marks the first title changes for Henley and James and also ends the record setting reign for Chance and Carter at 186 days. Later, Gallus defeated Pretty Deadly, Chase U and reigning champions the New Day to win the NXT Tag Team Titles for the first time. North American Champion Wes Lee, Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and NXT Champion Bron Breakker all retained their titles.
