Star Power Galore. Lineups For Men’s Survivor Series Match Revealed *SPOILERS*

You have to fill in the lineups. With less than two weeks to go before Survivor Series, it’s time to get ready for one of the biggest matches of the year. That would be the men’s elimination match, featuring a Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live team of five men each, plus a captain each. Since there isn’t a lot of time left, those teams are starting to come together and someone knows a little earlier than usual.
According to PWInsider.com, the lineup for the men’s Survivor Series elimination match will see a Monday Night Raw team of Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler vs. a SmackDown Live team of Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, the Miz and Randy Orton. This week on Monday Night Raw, McIntyre, Ziggler and Strowman were confirmed for the match.
How did we get those three names confirmed?

Opinion: That’s a pretty solid sounding main event. The important part of these matches is to offer pairings ..

What Happened After Monday Night Raw Went Off The Air?

Four hands are better than two. This week’s Monday Night Raw took place in England, though the big hero at the end of the night was Kurt Angle. While Angle was defeated in the main event by Drew McIntyre, it came after a hard fought effort at the end of a long show. That wasn’t quite it for the evening though, as there was one more thing for the English crowd.
According to Ringsidenews.com, after this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw went off the air, McIntyre continued to attack Angle until Dolph Ziggler ran in to help with the beatdown. Braun Strowman came out to save Angle and the villains ran off. Ziggler had wrestled earlier in the night in a losing effort against Elias while Strowman made multiple appearances without having a match.
Here’s how the main event went down.

Opinion: That’s not the worst way to end a night as Strowman seems to be popular still. At the same time though, aside from Seth Rollins, who else do you have? At th..

Forget the WWE World Cup: Is AJ Styles the Best within the World?

AJ Styles is the current WWE champion and as of November 7, he will have held the title for a full year. Though he never needed the belt to be considered a top talent in Vince McMahon’s company, the truth is that being champion has only increased his worth. Styles always had it in him to rise up and become the top star in WWE and he keeps proving that. Of course his championship run is being dictated by someone else. It’s just not his decision. WWE could suddenly pull a swerve and take the title off of him when everyone least expects it. Fans would be surprised, but they would likely not be shocked. WWE has done that type of thing before. But as The Phenomenal One continues on his reign as WWE champion, many fans are perhaps asking the same question. Is AJ Styles the best in the world?
“Best in the world” is a phrase that’s been thrown around quite a bit lately. That’s thanks of course to the World Cup Tournament that concluded at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Shane McMahon won that to..

Title Change Takes Place On Monday Night Raw

That’s one way to solve things. Last month, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose became the Raw Tag Team Champions again in a very good match against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. The celebration was short lived though as Ambrose turned on Rollins, leaving several questions to be answered. One of these was the state of the titles, and now we have an answer.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Rollins lost the titles to AOP in a handicap match, as ordered by acting General Manager Baron Corbin. Ambrose ran in and attacked Rollins after the match was over. This marks the first title reign for the AOP, who are currently scheduled to face SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Bar in a champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series.
Here’s how everything went wrong two weeks back.

Opinion: They didn’t have much of a choice but to change the titles and the AOP are as good as anyone else to put them on. There aren’t a lot of top teams on the show at the moment..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – November 5, 2018

Monday Night Raw
Date: November 5, 2018
Location: Manchester Arena, Manchester, England
Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Renee Young
After everything last week, even the wrestlers needed a Monday night off so we have a taped show from earlier in the day. It’s time for the annual November England tour and it happens to be one of the two final shows before Survivor Series. Therefore, it’s time to crank out some stories in a hurry. Let’s get to it.
The roster is on the stage and there are security guards at ringside as Baron Corbin comes out. After some clips of Brock Lesnar winning the Universal Title again (just go with it), Corbin talks about Survivor Series and lists off some of the upcoming matches. In addition to just winning for pride though, Raw has a score to settle because Shane McMahon stole the title of Best in the World from Dolph Ziggler. Don’t worry though, because Stephanie McMahon will be here next week to deal with that (You knew it was coming.).
As for the m..

Video: Top Ten Classic Champion vs. Champion Matches

Best of both worlds. Later this month, WWE will present its annual Survivor Series event, featuring a series of champion vs. champion matches. While no titles are likely to be on the line, a lot of these matches might seem like they’re not as important as others. That hasn’t always been the case though, as some champion vs. champion matches have been huge. Cue the retrospective music.
Double up.

WWE has released a new Top Ten list looking at Classic Champion vs. Champion matches in company history. Most of them are from more modern times though at least one is from older days. This is the second such list that WWE has put out recently, following a Top Five video posted on its Instagram page. The top three are the same and the other two are also included, but the Top Ten video has some extras in between.
Opinion: These things are often a lot of fun, but it helps when both titles are on the line. Otherwise, what’s the point in fighting? Brag..

Opinion: Vince McMahon Doesn’t Believe Anyone On Raw Can Be The Face Of The Brand

Last Friday at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view, history was made as Brock Lesnar once again captured the Universal Championship. This was after the unfortunate and tragic news that Roman Reigns had to surrender the championship, due to the return of leukemia that was put into remission over 10 years ago.
However, Lesnar didn’t just defeat Strowman; he basically squashed him. After acting General Manager Baron Corbin blasted Strowman in the back of the head with the title, The Beast would proceed to give The Monster four F-5s to secure the title.
Naturally, the internet did not respond kindly to this and couldn’t believe that Vince McMahon would once again put the title back on a part-timer, which has been the case for the almost year-and-a-half that Lesnar has been champion. As much as it pains me to say it, I actually agree with everyone this time.
And this agreement has led me to one conclusion:
In my opinion, Vince McMahon doesn’t believe that any superstar on Raw is capable of bei..

Why Did Madison Rayne Not Sign With WWE?

Current ROH superstar Madison Rayne was recently interviewed by the CBS affiliate in Pittsburgh, to promote a live taping that was taking place. She discussed a number of topics, including her decision to go to ROH, her dream opponent, not signing with WWE after the Mae Young Classic and more.
Below are some questions along with Rayne’s answers:
Let’s talk about you and Ring of Honor. You announced in September that you had signed a one-year deal with the company. What attracted you to go there?
It was a long and unexpectedly exciting year for me. 2018 has been really good to me, and it’s allowed me the freedom to go a lot of places and see a lot of rocker rooms and be part of huge, monumental things like Mae Young Classic and like All-In. I was able to spend some time at Ring of Honor and spend some time back in the Impact locker room. That was awesome, and for a while, I thought, well, maybe in 2018, this is the culture of professional wrestling, and I don’t need to have one home ..

Main Event Results – November 1, 2018

Main Event
Date: November 1, 2018
Location: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, North Carolina
Commentators: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, Percy Watson
It’s the final show before Crown Jewel, meaning it’s going to be a lot of focus on that show, again without saying where it actually takes place. In addition to all that though, it would be nice if we could have something fresh for the original content, which has been the case around here lately. That’s a nice way to help the show going forward and hopefully it happens again here. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Titus O’Neil vs. Mojo Rawley They go straight to the power lockup to start with neither being able to get anywhere. Some right hands sends Mojo bailing to the floor and a dog bark fills in the time. Back in and Mojo gets in a shot out of the corner, followed by a hard clothesline. The chinlock goes on, and then the chinlock goes on again to keep things fresh. Titus fights up and drives him into the corner for a splash. Mojo is rig..

Major League Wrestling Fusion Results – November 2, 2018

Fusion #29
Date: November 2, 2018
Location: Melrose Ballroom, New York City, New York
Commentators: Matt Striker, Tony Schiavone
It’s time to get back to the regular shows this week after last week’s Halloween special. Things could be a little more interesting this time around as the Hart Foundation is back, which should make for a rather different kind of show. Fightland is coming up soon enough too so we should get some build towards the big show. Let’s get to it.
We open with a look back at Shane Strickland vs. Tom Lawlor with Low Ki costing Shane the win. Lawlor said he would cash in his World Title shot in February, so Sami Callihan attacked him at a media event while Low Ki watched.
Opening sequence.
Here’s Konnan for a chat. After sucking up to the crowd, Konnan says a witch named Salina de la Renta kept Pentagon and Rey Fenix from being here so here are Salina and Ricky Martinez to cut him off. Salina isn’t happy with Konnan for stealing her talent so she’s had them deporte..

Video: Behind The Scenes Of WWE Evolution

There was a lot going on. Last Sunday, WWE presented its first ever all women’s pay per view with Evolution. The show was a long time in the making and finally became a reality after a lot of hype. It was certainly an emotional night for a lot of the people involved and there were a lot of things going on behind the scenes as well. Since it’s WWE, there were cameras right there as well.
It was a big deal.
[This post contains video, click to play]

WWE has released a new video looking behind the scenes at Evolution on the day of the show. This includes the women getting ready for their matches and talking about how big of a day this is for everyone involved. The video also features people both on and off the show talking about how important everything is both for them today and for the future generations of women’s wrestling.
Opinion: I know it got talked about to no end, but this really was a huge show for both WWE and wrestling as a whole. There have been all women’s shows before,..
