A lot of wrestlers from around the world have seen their careers take some major hits and that is not a bad thing. While they may hurt the wrestling promotions in the short term, it is much better to get rid of these problems in the long term. Now, another name might be going away for a bit.
One of the interesting points of the whole issue has been wrestling companies releasing or punishing wrestlers from all levels of competition. Some companies have had more issues than others and that is one of the best things that can happen. He’s one of the big names. Back in 2018, WWE began running NXT UK as another brand under their rather huge umbrella. That made for some big signings as WWE brought in some of the top names from around Europe to create the NXT UK lineup. With NXT UK not exactly running as usual at the moment, one of the questions has become what might happen to some of their top names. It turns out that one major name has not changed.

A sign of things to come for Raw? The Coronavirus has changed the way WWE can do business as there are only so many things that they can do as far as presenting shows. With fans not being allowed in the arena, the shows have not exactly been the same for a long time now. They feel like glorified dress rehearsals at times, though those times may be changing in the near future.
The lack of fans in attendance are causing a lot of issues for WWE, both from a presentation and financial perspective. Not having people pay to get into their shows has cut off a large revenue stream for WWE and that is something that they are going to need to correct as soon as possible. The idea was to gauge the amount of women who had been sexually assaulted or harassed and try to make some sort of a change. This led to a new era of fighting back against such issues, with Hollywood and politics being major areas of change. Now, it is wrestling’s turn.

On Thursday, this set off what is being called SpeakOut, as a host of allegations accusing other wrestlers, many of whom are from the United Kingdom, of sexual harassment or assault, have come forward. There is only so much that can be done in front of an empty building, but things have gotten a little better since they have begun using NXT wrestlers as a makeshift crowd. Nice to meet you. There is a structured system in WWE, with names going from NXT up to the main roster on a fairly regular basis. That makes for some interesting developments and it can be fun to see when someone goes up to the main roster. At the same time though, that leaves holes in the NXT lineup.
