That’s very convincing. The Coronavirus has wrecked havoc on WWE for several months now and there is no reason to believe that is going to be changing anytime soon. Above all else, a lot of wrestlers are not comfortable with coming to the Performance Center under these circumstances and have stayed at home. That might not be the best thing for the fans or the company, but it does make sense. However, WWE may be fighting back against them in a pretty big way.
There have been several wrestlers not appearing on WWE television for a good while, though some wrestlers have been away a lot longer than others. Some of these names leaving have been a bit bigger than others, with Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn being near the top of the list. That’ll raise some eyebrows. While he might not be the most popular name in WWE history, there is no denying that Roman Reigns is one of the biggest stars WWE has ever seen. He has been pushed to the moon more than once and that is the kind of thing that you don’t get to see very often. The results have been mixed, and Reigns has certainly been controversial. Now he has said something that is likely to get people talking again.
One of the most controversial moments of Reigns’ career was in the 2016 Royal Rumble, when he defended the WWE Championship while entering at #1. Reigns was around near the end, but took a long break during the match after an attack by the League of Nations. He did what he said. Like any other wrestling company, WWE’s roster is going to change at a fairly rapid rate. At one point or another, someone is going to leave and be replaced by another wrestler. That may or may not be an upgrade, but what matters the most is seeing where things go and having a good time. During this week’s Monday Night Raw, Dolph Ziggler brought out Heath Slater, who had been released from the company back in April, to confront Drew McIntyre. After McIntyre defeated Slater in less than thirty seconds, the two of them hugged in what seemed to be Slater’s farewell to the show. Not so fast? While WWE is the pinnacle of the wrestling business for a lot of people, it might not be the end goal for everyone in the business. There is nothing wrong with that, and sometimes a wrestler might get there and then want to go somewhere else. That might be due to something in the business or something personal, but one wrestler considering leaving WWE might not be going so soon.
There are a lot of international stars in WWE and one of the most entertaining is Kairi Sane. She has a special charisma to her and the Insane Elbow is one of the best finishers around. While Sane has certainly had some success, she has never had that great moment that would send her up to the next level. Earlier this week, news broke that Sane would probably be leaving WWE to head back to Japan, but that might have been jumping the gun.

It’s the go home show for the second half of Fyter Fest and I’m not sure if that is going to matter. This show continues to be all over the place and I’m not sure what to expect from it week to week. One of the biggest draws here is the in-ring debut of Brian Pillman Jr., who could be a star in a few years. Let’s get to it.

Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Shawn Spears Tully Blanchard is here with Spears. Feeling out process to start with Pillman flipping out of a wristlock and kicking Spears into the corner. Some chops put Pillman in the corner but he’s right back with a dropkick. That means a chat with Blanchard on the floor, which seems to work as Spears dropkicks him off the ropes back inside. Pillman gets sent head first into the steps on the way to the ring but he’s right ..

He sees it bro. The WWE has seen some incredible wrestlers over the years and some of them are among the greatest talents of all time. With so much ability and so much skill, there is a desire to name someone else as the next insert great wrestler here. That is some amazing pressure, and Vince McMahon himself seems to think that there is something to one of his younger stars.
About a month ago, Matt Riddle made his full time debut on the main roster and immediately became a big deal, defeating Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles in a non-title match. With the WWE locker room facing what seems to be a Coronavirus outbreak, the television schedule has been all over the place. Shows have been moved back several days at a time as the company tries to keep track of who is sick and who is healthy while also putting on shows. That makes it interesting to see who is missing from any given show, and three names were absent from the two most recent television shows.

Things just keep getting worse. It has been a rough few months for WWE as one bad piece of news keeps coming in after another. First there was the Coronavirus pandemic and then SpeakOut started up, leaving WWE to take hit after hit. Both situations have far more important victims than WWE, and now one person involved nearly got himself in a lot more trouble all over again.
One of the biggest WWE names to be mentioned in the SpeakOut movement has been the Velveteen Dream, who has been accused of having a variety of inappropriate conversations with minors. While nothing has been confirmed as of yet and WWE has not made any comment on the situation, it is not clear if Dream will be back on WWE television. With so much money and so many resources, they can do things that other wrestling promotions just cannot accomplish. One of those things has included expanding their territory, but one such territory is not doing so well right now.
One thing that you might have been missing over the last few months is NXT UK. The WWE’s first attempt at an international expansion of its NXT brand has not been around since late April due to the Coronavirus pandemic and it does not seem like things are going to be changing in the near future. Couple the pandemic with the SpeakOut movement taking its toll on the UK wrestling scene and things are getting even worse. He is the kind of wrestler who can put on a suit, stand in front of a camera and say just about anything you need him to with enough charisma to make it work. The road to Fyter Fest continues with a stop the night before and a bunch of squash matches. The show has trended a little bit in the shorter direction as of late and that is a good thing. With the shows being a bit shorter, the matches that we get have a little more impact. That’s a good thing for this show, which is still finding its footing. Let’s get to it.
We open in the back with Brandon Cutler and Peter Avalon laughing at each other, but Leva Bates tries to calm them down. The Young Bucks come in to say they’re teaching them something. You have to try something else. The last few weeks has seen a whirlwind of changes in Impact Wrestling due to a variety of issues. The biggest of them all has been in the main event scene, where two of the five members of the Slammiversary main event are suddenly gone from the company, including the reigning World Champion. Things had to be changed and now we know where that is going.
Last week, Impact Wrestling released both Michael Elgin and reigning World Champion Tessa Blanchard. This left the Slammiversary main event with only three of the five scheduled entrants, meaning that something had to be changed. Due to the company’s taping schedule, the news could not be immediately announced on television. Some time has passed now though and now we have a new main event.
