We’re done with Halloween Havoc and that means it is time to get ready for…well I have no idea actually as I’m not sure what they’re going to do as far as Takeover goes. There were a bunch of title changes last week and now it is time to see where things go from here. Let’s get to it.
Here is Mandy Rose to open things up and Barrett is VERY happy to see her as the new Women’s Champion. She is very proud of her win because she is the best looking champion in the title’s history and she is still the baddest b**** around. Last week was a great night for Toxic Attraction and we see all of them holding up their new titles last week (Mandy: “D*** I’m hot.”).
Her girls aren’t here, so we cut to the back where the rest of Toxic Attraction is beating up Zoey Stark. Mandy is proud of them but wants some competition. Cue Io Shirai to say she’ll fight right now, b..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Update On The Future Of NXT Takeover

That’s a big step. There have been all kinds of changes throughout WWE over the last year and a half with one of the biggest changed areas being down in NXT. The show is now back to the developmental territory that it was before, which has marked quite the shakeup for everyone involved. There are still a few similarities to the old days though, and now we might be seeing another one.
According to Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, NXT will present the first Takeover of NXT 2.0 on Sunday December 5, though there is no word on if the Takeover name will continue to be used. NXT was reset as NXT 2.0 in September with several new wrestlers and nearly everything being changed. Takeover has been presented regularly since 2014, with the most recent taking place on August 22.
Tentative date for the first NXT 2.0 Takeover is Sunday, December 5, according to multiple sources. Have asked but couldn’t confirm if “Takeover” will continue to be the brand name.

Monday Night Raw Star Gets Name Addition

Maybe it’s what he needs. Wrestlers’ names are some of the most important aspects of their entire persona, as the wrong name can have quite the negative impact. At the same time though, having the right name can make all of the difference in the world, especially if the name is changed at the right time. That might be the case again with a Monday Night Raw star.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a vignette aired advertising that Veer Mahaan was coming to the show soon. This marks a name change for Mahaan, who had previously gone only by his first name. Mahaan debuted on Monday Night Raw earlier this year as one of Jinder Mahal’s enforcers but twas split off from him, as Mahal and Shanky were both sent to SmackDown in the WWE Draft. There is no word on when Mahaan will make his debut as a singles star.

Another Former World Champion Officially A Free Agent

Someone will be interested. While WWE and AEW receive most of the attention, there are still some outstanding wrestlers outside of the major two companies. It can be a lot of fun to watch these stars come up through the ranks and showcase their skills, and thanks to modern technology, it is happening more than ever before. Now we are seeing one such wrestler hitting the free agent market.
Former Major League Wrestling World Champion Filthy Tom Lawlor has announced that he is officially a free agent. Lawlor posted to Twitter, thanking Major League Wrestling for the last four years. There is no word on where Lawlor will sign next, though he is currently the New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Champion. Lawlor has been with Major League Wrestling for the last four years and is a former UFC fighter.
As of today, I am a free agent in the world of professional wrestling. Thank you to @mlw @courtbauer @MSL @beINSPORTSUSA for the time & effort they put in with me. But mostly I’d like to thank the..

WWE Is Doing Something Very Helpful For NXT Wrestlers’ Futures

It’s another skill. WWE has been shaking things up as of late and NXT has felt the changes more than anyone else. The show has gone from something close to the third brand of WWE television all the way back to developmental, which has made for quite the change of pace. There are several new wrestlers on the roster and it seems that WWE is giving some of them a bit of an unusual bonus.
While talking with Fightful Select, NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose revealed that WWE has been teaching NXT wrestlers about the production aspect of the television show. This includes bringing them into the production truck and explaining various concepts. In addition, the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown production teams have been teaching the NXT production team. Previous NXT wrestlers, such as Bayley, were also taught the production side of the show.
There is talent in NXT. Check out some of the better things going on there recently:

REVIEW: WWE One Night Stand 2007: The Gimmicky One

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be?
One Night Stand 2007
Date: June 3, 2007
Location: Jacksonville Veterans Memorial, Jacksonville, Florida
Attendance: 7,000
Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Joey Styles, Tazz, Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield
It’s what almost has to be the final cycle of Wrestlemania rematches and early summer stories. The build for this has not been great, which probably has a lot to do with it being a mere two weeks after Backlash. The card isn’t looking the best either, but maybe they can surprise me. Let’s get to it.

Former World Champion Drops Huge Hint At Possibly Leaving WWE

That’ll get people talking. There have been a lot of moves made in the wrestling world over the last year and a half and several of them have involved people leaving WWE. One of the biggest reasons has been the rise of AEW, which has offered wrestlers a new place to go which could make things more interesting. Now we might be seeing another wrestler getting ready to leave WWE and try his luck elsewhere.
Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens spoke during this week’s Monday Night Raw, saying that he might be in WWE for three more months or three more years. This comes as Owens’ WWE contract is said to be expiring in the next few months with no word on where he will be signing next. Owens fought WWE Champion Big E. in a losing effort during this week’s show.
Owens has done some good things in WWE. Check out some of his time with the company:

WATCH: Becky Lynch Has A Surprising New Challenger

She might be next. Women’s wrestling in WWE has come a very long way in the last several years and that has been a very good thing. Women have now main evented the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and even WrestleMania, which would have been nearly impossible to believe even ten years ago. New stars will have to move up though and we might have seen someone taking a step in that direction this week.
This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch successfully defending her title against Bianca Belair while using a handful of tights. Later in the show, Lynch bragged about her win and said she needed someone new to give her a challenge. Liv Morgan appeared and stared Lynch down, suggesting that she would be the next challenger for the title. No match has been announced as of yet.
This could be interesting. Check out the showdown, plus both women in action:

Last Dance: Update On Miz’s (Likely) WWE Status

Well he tried. Wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to celebrity status. They are going to be seen as people who are indeed famous, but only for one specific thing. As a result, it is rare to see them break out into more mainstream fame. It does happen occasionally, which had been the case over the last few weeks. However, the run has now come to an end.
The Miz was eliminated from the thirtieth season of Dancing With The Stars on Monday, ending his run in the show’s eighth week. Miz was partnered with professional dancer Witney Carson and finishes in ninth place out of fifteen contestants. While not confirmed, Miz’s elimination should allow him to return to Monday Night Raw, as he has been gone from the show since appearing on Dancing With The Stars.

You’ll Be Seeing More Of The Rock In WWE Soon

I’d think he has earned it. There are certain people who have done some great things in wrestling but only a handful move on from the industry and become an even bigger star. There are a few of them to be found though and WWE is rather happy to have them back when they are willing to make a cameo. Now one of the biggest stars in wrestling history is going to get quite the focus.
WWE has announced that the WWE Network will be celebrating the Rock throughout the month of November. This month marks twenty five years since the Rock made his WWF debut at Survivor Series 1996. The month will include programming focusing on the Rock, beginning with a new collection called The Best Of The Rock which will debut on Tuesday November 2.

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – November 1, 2021

Monday Night Raw
Date: November 1, 2021
Location: Dunkin Donuts Center, Providence, Rhode Island
Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton
It’s time to start the final two months of the year and we are getting them going in a big way with Becky Lynch defending the Raw Women’s Title against Bianca Belair. There is always the chance of a title change around Survivor Series time, as WWE might need to make sure that a champion doesn’t lose at Survivor Series by having them lose earlier. Let’s get to it.
The opening video looks at Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair to set up the title match.
Belair talks about how we got here and recaps her feud with Lynch. Her failures are opportunities to get better and now Becky is going to see what she can do.
Lynch talks about how hard it is to be here and she might have even heard some booing. All that is going to do is inspire her.
Women’s Title: Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair Lynch is defending and the trash talk is on in a hurry. Belair ..

Becky Lynch Breaks Character Over Cool Fan Tributes

That’s just nice. There are different ways to present wrestlers and some of them are more effective than others. For the most part, wrestlers are either good or bad with the goal of making fans cheer or boo them. That does not always work out as well as expected, but sometimes you see a villain do something nice because they just can’t help themselves. That was the case again this weekend.
Becky Lynch posted a message to her Twitter on Sunday night, thanking all of the fans who dressed as her for Halloween. Lynch said she was humbled and honored and wished that all of the fans’ Halloween bags were filled with full size candy bars. This comes after Lynch has turned heel for the first time in several years in WWE and is scheduled to defend the Raw Women’s Title against Bianca Belair this week on Monday Night Raw.
On another note, I have seen the many of you that have dressed up as Becky Lynch this year and I am humbled and honored. You all look fantastic. Happy Halloween and may your b..
