WATCH: Randy Orton Helps A Fan In Distress At WWE Live Event

He was being a hero. Wrestlers are the kind of people you do not get to see in person very often so it is a special treat to be at a show live. Other countries outside of the United States has an even harder time getting to see wrestlers in person. It can be special if you see something out of the ordinary, which was the case this week and involved a fan being kept safe.
Following a match in Birmingham, England, Orton was greeting fans at ringside. As Orton was walking around, he noticed a young fan being crushed against the barricade. Orton asked the adult fans to back up and made sure that the fan was ok. He also spoke to the fan a bit before continuing to shake hands with other fans. Orton had teamed with Riddle to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles against Robert Roode/Dolph Ziggler and the Street Profits.
It was a cool moment. Check out what Orton did, plus what he can do in the ring:

Wrestling Star Tells Rather Unusual Story About Losing Her Dog

Short and scary. Wrestlers are on television every single week and they get to showcase their talents in front of the world. That is something that most people will never get the chance to do, but at the end of the day, the wrestlers are often much more like regular people than others. It was the case again for two wrestlers, who had quite the scary situation this week.
Impact Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace revealed that Pet Smart accidentally gave their dog away when the dog was in the store for grooming. Soon thereafter, Grace gave an update, saying that the woman who took her dog had been found and ultimately returned the dog. On top of that, Grace mentioned that she was unhappy with how Pet Smart made her dog look after its treatment.
I am in complete shock right now. @PetSmart groomers GAVE OUR FUCKING DOG TO SOMEONE ELSE

Update: they found/called the lady who took her and she’s on the way back.

Another WWE Star Injured, Status Uncertain

Hopefully it isn’t bad. Injuries are Kryptonite to a wrestler as anyone can be taken down by one out of nowhere. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt and the focus then shifts to just how long someone is going to be on the shelf. That is never good to see, and unfortunately it is taking place again with a fairly prominent wrestler on the WWE roster.
WWE has announced that Kofi Kingston has suffered an MCL sprain in his knee. The injury took place during the Bloodline’s attack on the New Day during last week’s edition of SmackDown. There is no word on how long Kingston will be out of action and his status for this week’s SmackDown is not clear. It is also not clear if Kingston’s injury is legitimate or part of a storyline.

AEW Sets Two Brand New Matches For Full Gear

The card keeps growing. We are less than three days away from AEW’s next pay per view offering with Full Gear, and that should mean that the card is set. For the most part that is true, but like any other show, there is always time to add in something else to the mix. That is what AEW did this wee, as even more matches have been set up for the show on Saturday night.
AEW announced two more matches for Full Gear during this week’s edition of Dynamite. First, the Buy-In show will feature a tag match between Nyla Rose and Jamie Hayter vs. Thunder Rosa and Hikaru Shida. On the main card, Cody Rhodes will team with Pac vs. Malakai Black and Andrade El Idolo. There is no word on if AEW plans to add anything else to the show.
There are some talented people joining the show. Check out some of them in action:

Good News On Injured Monday Night Raw Star

That could have been worse. There are certain things in wrestling that are universal for anyone who gets in the ring, with one of the worst being the potential to get hurt. No matter how talented or skilled a wrestler might be, there is always the chance that they could get hurt in the blink of an eye. That can be a scary time, but now we are getting some good news about someone for a change.
Earlier this week, WWE announced that Finn Balor was injured and unable to appear in a scheduled match at a WWE live event in the United Kingdom. However, according to Fightful.com, Balor was back in the ring on Wednesday in Manchester, England. Balor opened the show in a tag team match, teaming with Cesaro to defeat Walter and Sheamus. There is nothing to suggest that Balor will miss any more time.
It’s good to have him back. Check out what Balor can do when he is healthy:

WRESTLING RUMORS: Personal Feud Coming Soon In WWE

A family situation. There are all kinds of ways to present a wrestling feud. You can go with a variety of stories and feuds, some of which have a better track record than others. One of the most tried and true ways to go is a personal feud though, which is something that almost anyone can understand in a hurry. It seems that we are on the way towards the same thing again.
According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Wrestling podcast, Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio are set to split up soon, leading to a feud between the two of them. This comes after Dominik has been taking issue with Rey being at ringside for his matches, as well as Rey making some comments about Dominik on television. There is no word on how the split will go down.
Spoke with a source at WWE.

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – November 10, 2021

Dynamite
Date: November 10, 2021
Location: Indianapolis Farmers Coliseum, Indianapolis, Indiana
Commentators: Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur
It’s the go home show for Full Gear and that means things might actually be interesting around here. AEW knows how to stick the landing on their way to a pay per view and there is still some stuff that they need to cover. Odds are they’ll hit a lot of those points this week so let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Bryan Danielson vs. Rocky Romero Orange Cassidy is here with Romero. They go technical to start and the fans are behind Danielson as he grabs a headlock. The threat of an armbar sends Danielson over to the ropes so Romero elbows him in the face. Danielson flips over Romero in the corner but misses the running clothesline. Instead, Romero sends him outside, where Cassidy gives Danielson the hands in the pockets.
The delay lets Romero score with a suicide dive but Danielson is back with the kicks and chops in the corner. A kick to th..

REVIEW: Monday Night Raw – June 11, 2007 (Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night): Boom!

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be?
Monday Night Raw
Date: June 11, 2007
Location: Wachovia Arena, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole, Tazz, John Bradshaw Layfield, Joey Styles
It’s time for a special three hour edition (like that has a future) as we have the annual Draft. This show will include all three brands, including ECW for a change. They have really hyped up the idea that ANYONE can be drafted to any show and that seems like they are primed for something interesting. These things can have quite the ..

KB’s Review: Survival Of The Laziest

I’ve been watching wrestling for a very long time and one of my favorite VHS (look it up) tapes was Survivor Series 1987. The late 80s WWF is my favorite era of wrestling ever and this show (plus the next few years) had almost everyone you could want to see on a WWF show from this time. You had a midcard match with ten wrestlers, a women’s match with ten wrestlers, a tag match with twenty (!) wrestlers and a main event match with ten more, including Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant for the first time since the most famous match in history.
That’s the kind of thing that made me always want to see the Survivor Series. Where else were you going to see Rick Rude vs. Hulk Hogan or Strike Force vs. Demolition or Randy Savage vs. Hercules (outside of house shows)? It was the kind of card that gave you such a buffet of options and it was awesome to see every single year….at least up until you reach a certain point.
After 1990, it was time to quote Owen Hart and realize that enough is enough an..

Ring Of Honor TV Results – November 3, 2021

Ring Of Honor
Date: November 3, 2021
Location: 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman
It’s time for the Halloween edition, which did air on time in some of the markets so this isn’t that far out of place. I have no idea what to expect around here now that everything has changed, but that kind of fits how Ring of Honor has worked for years. I could go for some more of what they have been doing so this is kind of appropriate. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Quinn McKay gives us the welcome. She also gets to draw the names for the Trick Or Treat match…but we only hear EC3, with the rest of the picks in fast forward. Moderately intriguing, save for EC3 that is. She has her own match this week and needs a replacement, but it needs to be ANYONE but Brian Johnson.
Delirious runs down the card.
Commentary is in costumes as well, with Ian as a Teletubby, Coleman as Don Cornelius from Soul Train and Maria Kanellis-Bennett as…a woman in a dress..

WWE Announces A Very Special New Partnership

It’s a worthy cause. There are a lot of things that WWE does every year and some of them are rather interesting. You often see WWE run the same events during the same time of the year, but sometimes you see a change that gets your attention. That is the case again this year, and this time around they are doing something a little bit different and a good bit more special.
The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation has announced a multi-year partnership with WWE, which will see WWE help tell the stories of recipients of the Medal of Honor. This will include features on this weekend’s Tribute to the Troops special, as well as a donation of $1 to the Foundation from every souvenir WrestleMania ticket sold. The partnership will officially begin this week at the WrestleMania On-Sale Party at AT&T Stadium.
This is a rather cool announcement. Check out some of WWE’s history with other foundations:

WWE Giving Xavier Woods A “Raw Deal” On UpUpDownDown Channel

It’s more work. There have been a lot of controversies in WWE over the last few years and a lot of them have to do with WWE exerting power over its wrestlers. Several stories have shown that WWE exerts every bit of control that they can over the roster, even when it comes to situations outside of the ring. That is the case again, and now it is with one of the company’s bigger side projects.
Fightful Select is reporting that Xavier Woods makes little to no additional money from his work on the UpUpDownDown Youtube channel or his work with G4. Instead, WWE applies both of these jobs towards Woods’ downside guarantee, meaning that they are treated the same as Woods’ time in the ring. Woods has never owned the channel and it took a “long time” to get off the ground in the first place. There is no word on what would happen to Woods’ involvement with either project should he leave WWE.
The channel is quite fun. Check out some of its content, plus Woods in his more familiar role:
