Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Sarray had left WWE after several months away from the ring. Now Sarray herself has confirmed the departure, talking about how grateful she was for her time in the company. She said that she learned a lot in America and confirmed that she would be returning to the ring in Japan on May 16. New plan! We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39, which will feature some of the biggest WWE matches of the year. This is the kind of show that can change a wrestler’s future and the question becomes what happens after that. Getting to headline the show is one of the biggest career boosts imaginable and now some different names might be receiving that honor.

According to Xero News on Twitter, WWE has made some changes to the WrestleMania card. The Raw Women’s Title match with Bianca Belair defending against Asuka will take place on Night One, while the SmackDown Women’s Title match with Charlotte defending against Rhea Ripley will take place on Night Two. A currently unannounced match between the Usos and Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn could be headlining Night One, though the plans have not yet been finalized. WrestleMania 39 takes place on April 1 and 2.

Last week on SmackDown, Rey Mysterio was announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2023. While WWE is planning to announce at least one more inductee later this week, this is slower than the company’s usual pace for announcing inductions. According to Fightful Select, the current plan is to have this year’s class be “way smaller” than in previous years. There is no word on how many names will be included in the induction ceremony, which is set for March 31.

Former WWE star Virgil has taken to Instagram, announcing that he has been inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. He thanked his favorite opponents in the business, including names such as Andre the Giant, Randy Savage and Bret Hart, along with the “million dollar dandy El Dandy”. Finally, Virgil thanked Damage CTRL for allowing him to be their hero and accused the Miz of stealing his gimmick. There is nothing to suggest that WWE has inducted Virgil into the Hall Of Fame.

A title reign can change the way a wrestler’s career goes and losing a title can mark quite the fork in the road. There are different ways to go after the loss, but occasionally someone loses a title without losing a match, which is what has happened again.

WWE executive Shawn Michaels has announced that as a result of the incident, there will be a series of qualifying matches tonight, with the winners advancing to a ladder match to crown a new champion at Stand & Deliver on April 1. The title has not been officially vacated.

During an appearance on the Cafe de Rene podcast, AEW’s Jake Roberts said that he believes the Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks) are better than the Bloodline’s Roman Reigns and the Usos. Roberts described Omega as “f****** unbelievable” and said that while he doesn’t like some of the stuff the Young Bucks do, “they’re doing it and getting away with it”.
