WATCH: Incredible Video On Ric Flair’s 50 Years In Wrestling (This Is Great)

Not many people can say it. There are legends in wrestling and then there are all time greats, who are the biggest names in the history of the industry. Those are the people that you hear about for years after their careers are over, but occasionally they reach that top level while still active. That is technically still the case with an all time great, and now we are getting a special look back at what he has done.
This December, Ric Flair will be celebrating 50 years in professional wrestling. As a result, Flair has released a video looking at his entire career, including a look at some of the highest points. Also included are clips of Flair in action every year he wrestled, beginning back in 1972 and going all the way through his final match in July of this year. The video runs over an hour and forty minutes.
This is pretty awesome. Check out what Flair has done over the years:

WWE Considering Bringing Reunited NXT Team To Main Roster

They could be next. WWE is a unique wrestling promotion in that they have so many resources available to them. One of their biggest is their own in-house developmental system in the form of NXT. As a result, the company is able to build up stars with national exposure before bringing them up to the main roster. That might be what we are getting to see again.
Over the weekend, Veer Mahaan reunited with Sanga at an NXT live event to reform the Indus Sher tag team. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is considering bringing the team up from NXT to the main roster at some point in the near future. There is no word on when the team might be brought up. Indus Sher teamed together in NXT before splitting up, with Mahaan coming up to main roster.
Opinion: I can go with the idea of bringing the team up to the main roster, but I would hope that WWE has something a little more interesting in mind this time. Indus Sher basically consisted of two big, strong guys from the same country with..

Impact Wrestling Results – September 22, 2022

Impact Wrestling
Date: September 22, 2022
Location: The Factory, Dallas, Texas
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt
It’s the go home show for Victory Road, which means we are about a month away from Bound For Glory. Victory Road is being treated as a pretty big deal so it would make sense to have a good go home show. This week does feature a pretty big showdown with Aussie Open vs. the Motor City Machine Guns. Let’s get to it.
Opening recap.
Digital Media Title: Bhupinder Gujjar vs. Brian Myers Myers is defending in a ladder match. Gujjar slugs away to start and hits a jumping knee to the face. A Samoan drop looks to set up the Gargoyle spear but Myers knees him out of the way. The first ladder is brought in but Gujjar dropkicks it into his face. Myers knocks him outside though and goes up for the title, only to be pulled down into a cutter.
Now the Gargoyle spear can send Myers into the ladder but the climb takes too long, as usual. The ladder is knocked into Gujjar and it..

NXT LVL Up Results – September 23, 2022

NXT LVL Up
Date: September 23, 2022
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Sudu Shah, Nigel McGuinness, Matt Camp
The low level roller coaster continues with this show as I’m not sure what to expect. There have been some minor stories to set up some matches, plus a few appearances from bigger names. Then again, given this show’s track record, all of that will be dropped as soon as possible. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Dante Chen vs. Bryson Montana Montana runs him over to start so Chen grabs a headlock. Some takeovers give Chen some momentum and there’s a dropkick to stagger Montana. That’s about it for the offense though as Montana runs him over and hammers away on the mat. A Michinoku Driver gives Montana two and we hit the bearhug. Chen fights out and hits a clothesline, followed by a boot to the face. The double chop finishes Montana at 5:42.
Result: Dante Chen b. Bryson Montana – Double chop (5:42)
Myles Borne is ready for Andre Chase.

WATCH: WWE Hall Of Famer Explains Recent Bizarre Twitter Activity

There’s a good reason. Wrestling has changed a lot over the years, especially in the last few years. One of the biggest ways has been the rise of social media, as wrestlers are now able to communicate with their fans like never before. This is a great way to interact with the people but not everything works out for the best. That was the situation this weekend when things got a bit weird.
Over the weekend, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long went on a blocking spree on Twitter, cutting off a large portion of wrestlers who followed him on the platform. Several wrestlers seemed surprised by the situation and Long changed his account to private. Long later released a video, announcing that his Twitter had indeed been hacked and that he didn’t want anyone to be mad at him. He also promised to explain more about the situation later.

WWE Has Two Possible Reasons For Pushing WWE Star Again

She’s filling in the gap. WWE has a lot of talented wrestlers on its roster and the company can have a hard time finding something for everyone to do. One of the easiest ways to fix the problem is to have some of the wrestlers sit on the sidelines, which can be the case for a variety of reasons. That has taken place again at the moment and now we know a bit more about what happened.
As previously reported, WWE’s Aliyah is currently injured but is expected to be back soon. In her absence, Shotzi has been helping Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah’s normal partner. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the substitution has been made to either have Shotzi become Rodriguez’s new partner, or to simply turn Shotzi into a babyface. Shotzi and Rodriguez have not teamed together yet and Aliyah could be back as soon as this week.
Opinion: This is something that feels like killing a few birds with one stone, as it allows Rodriguez to have a new partner while also giving Shotzi something to do. ..

WATCH: Surprise Title Change Takes Place At WWE Live Event

It really can come out of nowhere. Titles are one of the most important things in all of wrestling. They designate who the top stars in the promotion are supposed to be and give the fans something to notice. With so many championships, it can be difficult to find a way to make each one stand out. A gimmick can help, and that was on display this weekend at a live event.
WWE referee Aja Smith won the WWE 24/7 Title from Nikki Ash at a WWE live event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Saturday. Ash was scheduled to defend against Dana Brooke but stopped to show Smith, who rolled her up with fellow WWE referee Shawn Bennett counting the pin. Bennett then tried to roll Smith up for the title but only counted his own two. Ash then won the title back and eventually released footage of the whole situation. WWE has done something similar at recent live events, with different referees winning the title.
You don’t see this every day. Check out the title changes:

LOOK: The Usos May Have Surprise Challengers For The WWE Tag Team Titles

They would be different. Tag team wrestling has a weird history in WWE as the company has rarely been huge on pushing it. Instead, teams are often put together for the sole purpose of splitting them up later. That is certainly not the case with the top team in the company at the moment though, as the Usos are approaching the record for longest Tag Team Title reign in company history. They need some fresh challengers, and now a new team might be stepping up.
Following this week’s SmackDown, Mace of the Maximum Male Models tweeted out a picture of the team with both sets of Tag Tam Titles Photoshopped onto them. While not specifically stated, this could suggest that the team is coming after the Usos’ championships. The Maximum Male Models made their in-ring debut as a team on the August 26 SmackDown and have yet to win a match.

Drew McIntyre Pulled From WWE Events Over Medical Issue

You never want to hear that. There are a lot of reasons that a wrestler could miss a show and most of them are not good, especially if they involve health issues. While wrestlers are often getting injured, you do not see that many situations of a wrestler missing time from the ring due to illness. That seems to be the case at the moment with one of WWE’s most prominent stars.
According to PWInsider.com, Drew McIntyre was pulled from a pair of live events over the weekend due to a bout of food poisoning. McIntyre is said to have forced his way through SmackDown and then been taken off the road to give him the weekend to recover. The situation involved McIntyre receiving an IV of fluids during SmackDown. Braun Strowman replaced McIntyre on the shows.
Opinion: That sounds terrible for McIntyre and hopefully he gets back in the ring sooner than later. McIntyre has a reputation for being one of the hardest working people in WWE and it is rare to see him take a day off, so I would hardly c..

Another Star Possibly Gone From AEW

Catch you later? There are a lot of talented wrestlers on the AEW roster but there is only so much television time to go around. As a result, it can be rather difficult to find a way to keep everyone on television on a regular basis. That will continue to be a problem until there are fewer wrestlers or more television time and now we might be seeing one of the problems lighten up a bit.
According to Fightful Select, Buddy Matthews may be either out of AEW or going away for the time being. His pinfall loss to Sting on Rampage is reported to be the way AEW will write him off of television. This comes after Matthews was said to have been upset over how he was used in AEW for the last several months. Matthews reportedly addressed the situation at a Fight Live Pro Wrestling event over the weekend, where he said this:
“Unfortunately, tonight, I’m going to be the bearer of some unfortunate news. As everyone knows, the House of Black has had some issues lately. As all the members of the hous..

Injury Update After Scary Crash On AEW Rampage

That could have been worse. Injuries are one of the worst things that you can see in wrestling and unfortunately you never know when someone is going to get hurt. Something can just happen out of nowhere and result in someone being put on the shelf. At the same time though, sometimes something looks a lot worse than it is, which thankfully is what happened here.
This week on AEW Rampage, the Great Muta made a surprise appearance and saved Sting from the House Of Black. Muta sprayed mist into Buddy Matthews’ eyes, sending him into Julia Hart, who was knocked off the apron and through a table. Hart mostly missed the table, which did not fall down and only had a small piece knocked out. Both Hart and her stablemate Brody King announced on Twitter that Hart (and her hat) are fine.
This could have been a lot worse. Check out Muta’s appearance and Hart’s fall:
