What? More Details On Possible Steve Austin WWE Return, Potential Options

Those are some big ones. There are certain stars in wrestling history who have eclipsed almost any other name and are among the all time greats. There are not very many of these wrestlers and you know them when you see them. It means a lot when one of them is able to come back and do something, even for one night, and now there is some speculation about another appearance.

Over the last few weeks, there have been teases of Steve Austin returning to the ring for one more match, possibly at WrestleMania 39. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some of the possibilities for Austin would be brawling with someone like (though not certainly) Baron Corbin or Austin Theory ala WrestleMania 38, or a dream match.
Possible dream match opponents would be Brock Lesnar, John Cena or Logan Paul, though it is not clear if these are names WWE is considering. The entire situation is still said to be in the ..

Busy Night: Several Title Changes Take Place At AEW Full Gear

They’re a big deal. Titles are some of the most important things in all of wrestling and it means a lot for one to change hands. A wrestler getting their hands on a championship is the kind of thing that can alter a wrestler’s career trajectory in a very important way, especially if it is their first. That took place this weekend, as a few title changes took place on the same night.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: A Scary Situation: Backstage Feelings On Adam Cole’s Health Status
There were three title changes on Saturday night at AEW Full Gear 2022. First up, Samoa Joe defeated Powerhouse Hobbs and reigning champion Wardlow to win the TNT Title. The win makes Joe a double champion, as he also holds the Ring Of Honor TV Title. Next, Jamie Hayter defeated Toni Storm to become the new Interim Women’s Champion. Finally, Maxwell Jacob Friedman defeated Jon Moxley to become AEW World Champion when William Regal turned on Moxley.
In addition, the following champions retained their titles:

It’s time for another AEW pay per view and that should be a good thing a the company certainly has the reputation for putting on great ones. The main events here are MJF challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title and Chris Jericho defending the Ring Of Honor World Title in a four way match. Let’s get to it.
Zero Hour: Best Friends/Rocky Romero/??? vs. Factory The Best Friends are missing a partner to start, though they had advertised a very evil mysterious partner. Chuck shoulders Solo down to start and it’s off to Trent. A knee from the apron cuts Trent off but he’s fine enough to drop Johnson. Everything breaks down and Romero hits the Forever Clotheslines on Johnson in the corner. Marshall gets punched by a variety of people and Cassidy rather slowly joins in.
Cassidy takes so long setting up the big punch that Marshall falls down. The ..

MJF Wins AEW World Championship; William Regal Turns Heel at AEW Full Gear

The AEW World Championship match with Jon Moxely defending the title against MJF was a rare instance of being so unpredictable that anything could happen. There was speculation after Wednesday’s final segment on Dynamite, which had William Regal in the middle of the frame between MJF and Jon Moxely.
Based on the ending on Dynamite, a lot of fans assumed that William Regal would be the determining factor in whoever won tonight. After the riveting promo between MJF and Regal about their past, it seemed that AEW was building MJF into the great babyface champion the company needs for the future, but he’s aligned himself with the devil.
At AEW Full Gear: William Regal just revealed himself as the devil that was always standing by Jon Moxely’s side
It started towards the end of the match when MJF teased using the ring to get the win, which led Regal to come down to the ring. After a little bit of trickery, Regal slid MJF his own brass knuckles to give him the knockout blow and the victor..

REPORT: Stone Cold Steve Austin Not Training for a Match at WrestleMania 39

One of the bigger stories of the month has been WWE offering Stone Cold the chance to do another match down the line. It was not clear if they meant Austin doing something at a Crown Jewel event, or did they mean something for WrestleMania 39.
The rumor mill got even hotter when videos of Stone Cold training came out on Instagram. People thought that after his great match in Dallas with Kevin Owens, he’d stepped up his training regiment to be ready for WrestleMania in Hollywood.
The Texas Rattlesnake released his latest video on Instagram explaining his workout routine and addressing the “speculation” that has been built over his training.
Click here to hear the latest news right from the mouth of Stone Cold himself Now, we have to remember that Stone Cold wrestled in Dallas and the wrestling world wasn’t this intense about his workout schedule a year ago. Also, Austin has been doing this for more than 30 years. He knows how to sell a ticket and it’s not even 2023 yet. There’s a cha..

Here’s What Tony Khan Had Planned for Saraya if She Wasn’t Cleared to Wrestle

For the first time in five years, Saraya will finally make her in-ring return to the squared circle. She will wrestle Britt Baker in her return bout, which has been highly featured as one of the top feuds heading into tonight’s AEW Full Gear.
It’s very exciting for the AEW fans and for Saraya herself to have the opportunity to perform after a five year absence. There hasn’t been any word on her training or how much she’s been in the ring over the past few months. AEW only just released the news that she was medically cleared to compete at Full Gear this past week.
Tony Khan, who participated in the standard conference call before Full Gear, apparently didn’t have any concerns about Saraya being physically capable of performing in the ring when she signed with the company. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confimed the following via Twitter about what plans were in place for Saraya if she couldn’t actually wrestle:
Tony Khan tells me that @Saraya was confident she would get cleared and felt..

Viper Memories: Randy Orton Posts Tribute To Umaga And Rosey

That’s a special tribute. There have been a lot of wrestlers to come and go throughout the years and unfortunately some of them are no longer here. That could be due to a variety of reasons but so many of them have left before they should have. Other wrestlers will remember them quite fondly and that is what Randy Orton is doing with a departed former WWE star.

Earlier this week, a fan posted a photo to Twitter showing presumable himself posing with Randy Orton and Umaga. Orton responded, thanking the fan for posting the picture and saying we are coming up on the anniversary of Umaga’s passing. He called Umaga the “OG head of the table” and also mentioned Matty Anoa’i (Rosey). Orton also said “So many memories. Too many brothers lost”. Umaga passed away on December 4, 2009 at 36.
I’m very happy you posted this pic. I’ll save it. Anniversary is coming up where we lost the Samoan Bulldozer. I wish I was..

Positive Injury Update on Hangman Adam Page Before AEW Full Gear

On the October 18th episode of AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday, Hangman Adam Page suffered a serious concussion injury in his AEW World Championship match against Jon Moxely. Aside from some general news, there haven’t been many reports on how his health is progressing, especially with AEW Full Gear just hours away.
During the recent AEW media call with Tony Khan, one of the questions that was posed to the AEW President was how Hangman has been doing and his health status before AEW Full Gear. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Tony Khan said the following:
Tony Khan says Hangman Page is healing well following his concussion

Related: Very Important Update On Hangman Page’s Injury Status “Healing” is the key word here. There have been no indications that Hangman Adam Page is ready to return to the ring. There doesn’t seem to be any reason to believe that Hangman will be at AEW Full Gear tonight as a performer.

RUMOR: Tony Khan May Strip Women’s Championship From AEW Star; Thunder Rosa Reacts

When Thunder Rosa relinquished the AEW Women’s Championship back in August, the rumor mill went wild on her “injury status” and a bunch of other fabricated information. The title has been an Interim World Championship until her return on AEW television.
Toni Storm claimed the belt and became the AEW Interim Women’s Champion at All Out in September. Everything has been going alright since then, but there’s a little bet of a booking issue. Storm is having a good reign, but it’s been a bit overshadowed by the return of Saraya and Britt Baker stealing the show.
Related: MJF Talks WWE With Tony Khan After AEW Dynamite A lot of the issue is that the AEW fanbase doesn’t love the concept of “Interim Champions.” There’s a valid argument that it makes the company’s championships a little less valuable. The long term play always seemed to be Toni Storm vs. Thunder Rosa down the line.
However, a new report shared AEW President Tony Khan’s thoughts on the potential decision to strip Thunder Rosa..

A Scary Situation: Backstage Feelings On Adam Cole’s Health Status

That’s a bad sign. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as anyone can be put on the shelf for any amount of time. It can be made even worse if there is no way of knowing how long a wrestler is going to be out of action. That seems to be the case again with an AEW star, and now his injury status has gone on for so long that people are worried.

AEW’s Adam Cole was injured on June 26 at Forbidden Door, suffering a concussion during his match. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “a number of people” are concerned about Cole’s injury status, though who or why was not explained. Cole has only appeared on AEW television once since his injury and there is nothing to suggest that he is ready to return to the ring anytime soon. In addition to his concussion, Cole was dealing with a torn labrum going into Full Gear. In his absence, Cole has been regularly streaming on Twitch.

PHOTO: Alexa Bliss Literally Suffers Bloody Injury Coming Home to Her Dogs

Alexa Bliss is one of the most marketable stars that WWE has under contract, which often means a crazy schedule that keeps her away from home for significant stretches of time. Anyone with pets will tell you how hard it is to leave them for an extended period of time.
The five-time WWE Women’s Champion just went more than 20 days being home. RingSideNews followed the story of her day on social media. The story goes that she went home for a “visit” and could only stay for about 8 hours. However, her dogs were so happy to see her after basically three weeks away that Alexa Bliss suffered a bloody lip in all the excitement.
Potentially sensitive photo is below:

AEW Full Gear 2022 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

It’s time for another AEW pay per view and as has been the case for a pretty good while now, things are not exactly feeling the most interesting at the moment. The World Title match doesn’t have the most personal setup and the rest of the show is feeling a bit hit or miss. That being said, the idea of AEW having a bad pay per view seems completely insane so I have quite a bit of confidence in what they are going to do. Let’s get to it.
Zero Hour: Jun Akiyama vs. Eddie Kingston
This is a match that was added after this week’s Rampage went off the air. In short, this is Kingston’s dream match and….I’m struggling to come up with a reason that should interest me. Akiyama is a legend, but there is no real reason for the two of them to be fighting other than Kingston just saying he wanted it to happen. For some reason this is added to the pre-show and now the night is even longer than it needed to be.
I’ll go with Akiyama winning, as AEW seems to like the idea of doing everything they can..
