She’s being missed. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, there are going to be some wrestlers who slip through the cracks. Sometimes a wrestler leaves television for one reason or another. It can mean a lot when they make their return, especially if it is something that sneaks up on you. WWE may be trying to do just that when an upcoming event is over.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Up: Injury Update On Missing Monday Night Raw Star
According to Ringsidenews.com, a tenured member of the WWE creative team said Aliyah is missing from WWE television due to her not being booked at Survivor Series and is ready to return. She is not injured and WWE does not want her on television with nothing to do. Aliyah has not wrestled since the September 12 edition of Monday Night Raw when she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Damage Ctrl.

That’s a nice update. Injuries can take down any wrestler at any given time and there is little that can be done to stop it. No matter how talented or skilled a wrestler may be, they can suffer an injury in the blink of an eye. This could be the kind of thing that keeps them out of action for any length of time and all you can do is wait on them to get back. Now we have a positive update on an injured star.

The Street Profits’ Montez Ford appeared on the Today Show this week and revealed that his calf injury is completely healed and he should be back “pretty soon”. When he returns, Ford said that his mission is still at hand: winning the WWE Tag Team Titles. Ford has not wrestled since a live event on September 24 and there is no word on when he will be back in the ring.

That is some serious praise. Roman Reigns has dominated WWE for the last two years plus, including one of the longest World Title reigns in company history. During his time as champion, Reigns has smashed his way through a number of opponents, some of whom have given him quite the run for his money. Now Reigns is opening up about one of his previous opponents in a positive way.

Reigns was recently profiled and interviewed by The Ringer and was asked about his earlier feud with Jey Uso. Reigns revealed that he felt no one had ever pushed him as hard emotionally like Uso had. The feud was also made easier because of their relationship allowing them to push the emotion out of each other. Uso and Reigns fought twice on pay per view, including at Clash Of The Champions and Hell In A Cell 2020, with Reigns winning both times.

There’s the switch. Wrestlers can go through a lot of issues in the ring and sometimes those issues can lead to changes. This might be something minor that can lead to a storyline development, or it can be a full fledged turn from good to evil or vice versa. Sometimes these changes take place all at once while others are overnight, and now we know about another one.

Over the last few weeks, United States Champion Seth Rollins has changed his tone and demeanor into something less serious. According to Wrestling Observer live, Rollins is now viewed as a babyface on WWE’s internal roster list. Rollins is currently feuding with both Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory and will be defending hist title against the two of them at Survivor Series.

That could have been great. One thing that almost every wrestling fan has done over the years is talk about what kind of dream matches they would love to see. Fans can come up with some of the most out there concepts for a match that still sound fun to hear. Occasionally you will see wrestlers doing the same thing and now one of the all time greats has revealed his dream match.

In a new post on his Instagram page, Dwayne Johnson is shown wearing Macho Man Randy Savage sunglasses. The post features Johnson saying that Savage was always his dream match as it would have been an honor to share the ring with him. The two were never in the same promotion at the same time, as Savage was in WCW in 1996 when Johnson signed with WWE. Johnson has been rumored to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood in April 2023.

Welcome back. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, the company is able to split them up into a variety of groups. This includes some stars who need some more work before being presented on the main television shows, leaving them in NXT. It can mean a lot to have a main roster star head back to NXT and two of them did that in the same night this week.

Second, following the main event, the former T-Bar, now known as Dijak, attacked North American Champion Wes Lee. Dijak is a former North American Champion under the name Dominick Dijakovik. We’re on the way to Deadline and that means we need to add some people to the card. There are five spots each for the Iron Survivor matches and all of them need to be filled. Other than that, we could use some matches of any kind and that is where we probably start tonight. Let’s get to it.

Here is Toxic Attraction for a chat. Mandy Rose brags about keeping the Women’s Title last week, saying another one bit the dust. Now NXT has to set up this Iron Survivor Challenge to find a new contender for her title and she’ll be watching closely. Rose brags about their success but here are Kayden Carter and Katana Chance to interrupt. Carter mocks the idea of Rose doing everything herself and suggests that Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin will bail as soon as Rose loses the title. He wants back in. There are several different people involved in making a wrestling show work and some of them will never wrestle a match in their lives. In addition to the wrestlers themselves, there is the so called third person in the ring in the form of a referee. They can be very important as well and now another one wants to get back in the ring after some time away.
During an appearance on the UnSKripted podcast, former WWE referee Jack Doan said that he would love to return to the company after a nine year absence. Doan said that he would have to discuss such a move with his wife but he would want to return. Doan was released from WWE in 2013 after having refereed with the company for around twenty years. There is no word on if WWE would be interested in having Doan, 50, back.

She doesn’t sound pleased. Wrestling is a lot of things, but at the end of the day, it is not a secret that the match results are planned in advance. The wrestlers are real athletes and are putting in the effort whenever they are in the ring. There are a handful of stars who can legitimately take down just about anyone they care to, and now one of them does not seem happy with a fellow star.

Last week on SmackDown, Raquel Rodriguez interrupted the Shayna Baszler vs. Shotzi match, resulting in Baszler getting distracted and rolled up for the pin. This came after Baszler’s friend, Ronda Rousey, interfered in the match multiple times. Rousey and Baszler were interviewed later in the night on SmackDown LowDown, with Rousey saying that Rodriguez disrespected herself and Baszler. Rousey went on to say that for interfering in their business, she would have to pay. Rousey is currently sc..

That’s a long time. There are a lot of wrestling events held throughout the year but none of them top WrestleMania. For almost forty years, the annual event has become the most important in the business from multiple perspectives. As a result, cities will bid to host the show and it can be quite the financial boon to the local economy. Now, we have an idea of where WrestleMania will be heading down the road.

According to the Tennessean (Nashville, Tennessee newspaper), WrestleMania 43 could be coming to Nashville in 2027. Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. CEO Butch Spyridon has said that WWE offered the city a verbal commitment to host the event if Nashville builds a new enclosed stadium. A vote to hold the new stadium will be held in the near future. WWE released a statement to the Tennessean saying:

It’s a different way to go. There are all kinds of ways to make a wrestler stand and sometimes a promotion needs to do something different to shake it up. Occasionally you will see a wrestler get something changed up to offer a new presentation. That was the case again this week, as two wrestlers received a change each to freshen things up just a little bit.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a wrestler’s theme song and another wrestler’s ring name were both changed. First up, Johnny Gargano came to the ring for a match with the Miz to a remixed version of his “Rebel Heart” theme, featuring a new vocalist and rift. Later in the show, Mia Yim’s name was changed to “Michin”, which she said means “crazy” in Korean. The name change has also been made official on WWE.com.
