One More? Wrestling Legend Claims AEW Wanted Him To Return

They had another idea. AEW has built up a roster with all kinds of different wrestlers, ranging from modern stars, up and coming wrestlers and veterans. It can mean a lot to have some legendary wrestlers show up after a long absence from the public eye. AEW tried to do just that but there was something standing in their way that caused their plans to be thrown off.

WATCH: WWE Superstars Return To Action After Two Month Absence

Welcome back. Injuries are always terrible to see in wrestling but they do have one silver lining: most of the time, wrestlers are able to come back from the injured list and get on with their careers. It can be great to see someone who up after a long absence, but at least the wrestlers are healthy enough to be back. Now two more stars are back on television after being gone for months.
The Street Profits made their return this week on Monday Night Raw, defeating Alpha Academy in a tag match. This was the Profits’ first match since a WWE live event on September 24, as Ford was out of action with a calf injury. The return came a week after Ford said he was back to being healthy and ready to go, though there was no reference to the team returning to the ring this week.
The guys are back. Check out how they did now and what they can do when healthy:

Monday Night Raw Results – November 28, 2022

Monday Night Raw
Date: November 28, 2022
Location: Scope Arena, Norfolk, Virginia
Commentators: Kevin Patrick, Corey Graves
We’re done with Survivor Series and that means it is time to start the very long road to the Royal Rumble. That could include quite a few things, but we are almost guaranteed some kind of fallout from Sami Zayn officially declaring his allegiance to the Bloodline. Other than that, a lot of the show is wide open so let’s get to it.
The Bloodline (minus Roman Reigns) is here and rather pleased with everything that happened on Saturday.
Here is Becky Lynch to get things going. She’s glad to be back but thinks she should be with the people. Becky goes into the crowd to high five some fans and meets some people named Bobby and Zachary (the latter of whom puts his arm around her, causing Becky to move away pretty quickly). Becky talks about how she has been gone for four months and is ready to start doing what the Man does. She can’t wait to take care of these new fa..

It’s Overdue: AEW Star Reveals Major Surgery For Months Old Injury

That’s never good to see. Injuries are one of the few constants in all of wrestling as anyone can get hurt at any time. They can take someone out of action for any length of time and that can be devastating to any momentum that a wrestler has. Some injuries are a lot worse than others and now it appears likely that an AEW star will be out of action for a good while after a serious one.

AEW’s Andrade El Idolo has posted a message to Instagram, revealing that he has undergone surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle this week. El Idolo said that he suffered the injury a few months ago but is just now undergoing the surgery to repair it. There is no word on when exactly the injury took place or how long he will be out of action. El Idolo was reportedly sent home from AEW due to a backstage fight with Sammy Guevara in September, though it is not clear if he was allowed to return.

NXT LVL Up Results – November 25, 2022

NXT LVL Up
Date: November 25, 2022
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Sudu Shah, Byron Saxton
It’s Black Friday and that seems to be a rather appropriate term for a night with LVL Up. The show has had its recent bright spots and that is about all you can expect from a short burst of decent. I’m not sure what to expect this week and in this case, that might be a good thing. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Xyon Quinn vs. Tank Ledger They fight over wrist control to start before switching off to a test of strength. With that not working, Ledger hiptosses him over but gets sent face first into the middle buckle. Quinn hits him with a hard clothesline, only to get driven hard into the corner. A fall away slam sends Quinn flying for a change but he’s right back with the Death Valley Driver. The running forearm finishes Ledger at 4:54.

Call Them Extras? Here’s Who Else WWE Brought In For Survivor Series But Did Not Use

They were there too. WWE runs a lot of different events throughout the year and some of them are among the biggest that any wrestling promotion presents. The biggest of them all are usually saved for major venues as premium live events. Another of them was held over the weekend and there were several stars present. It turns out that there were some more who did not appear on the show.

That’s Better: New Report On WWE Backstage Morale Under New Regime

That’s an upgrade. WWE has been going through a lot of changes this year and by far the biggest has been the change over from Vince McMahon to the new regime, mainly headed by Triple H. Things have gone in a new direction in the months since McMahon retired, and now we know a bit more about how much of an impact the change has had backstage in the company.

A new report by Fightful Select has more details on how the backstage atmosphere has changed since McMahon retired. According to the report, the locker room’s morale has greatly improved under the new regime, as things are seen as much more easygoing with less worry about being in trouble or fired over something out of your control. While some wrestlers are still not being used, their situations have improved, including with wrestlers having more creative input.
This comes after what was seen as a creative low point for ..

Another hand. There are a lot of people needed to make a wrestling show work and a lot of them are not people you see in front of the camera. In addition to the wrestlers, there are coaches and producers who help put the matches together. WWE has a large group of such producers and this week saw them bring back a name to help things out a bit, though it might not be so well received.

The Next Big Thing: Triple H Reveals Brock Lesnar Is Selling Meat

Eat it before he eats you. Wrestlers can do a lot of things and some of them have nothing to do with what goes on in the ring. Sometimes you hear about them doing something outside of wrestling, possibly using their celebrity status to get the word out a bit easier. That is apparently the case with a top WWE star, even if you have never heard of them before.

Triple H recently appeared on Snack Wars, where he mentioned being a fan of beef jerky. As an aside, Triple H mentioned that Brock Lesnar has his own line of beef jerky, which is called “Bearded Butcher Brock Lesnar Beef Bites” which are sold on Bearded Butchers’ online store, though as of this writing, they are out of stock. Lesnar has never mentioned the product on WWE TV. It is not clear when Lesnar will return to WWE.

Danger Of War: Bloodline Member Possibly Injured During WarGames

That could be bad. Injuries are one of the few universal problems that a wrestler can suffer as you never know when someone is going to be hurt during the course of a match. An injury could be major or minor, but there are also some that can cause problems for a long time to come. We might have seen one of the latter this weekend at Survivor Series during the show’s main event.

WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Planning Major International Show In India

They’re going on a trip. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling company in the world and has been for quite some time. WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Changes Roman Reigns’ Likely Royal Rumble Challenger

He’s up next. It has been a long time since WWE fans have seen anything like Roman Reigns’ current World Title reign.
