We’re still in Philadelphia and the big story coming out of last week was the return of Dalton Castle, who helped Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham defeat the Kingdom. Then he made it clear that he wanted the World Title, which means he’ll likely be facing either Lethal or Taven at the upcoming Final Battle. Let’s get to it.
We open with a recap of Castle returning and looking at the title.
Opening sequence.
Here are Castle and the Boys to get things going. Castle mentions that he was injured for over three months, but he didn’t go home and just sip mint juleps. He went home and sipped mint juleps but started putting in the world. Castle went to physical therapy and even went to Australia to kiss a kangaroo. Now though, his lone mission is to get back the World Title. He wants the champ, but gets Matt Taven instead. He’s the only man who can call himself the..

Who’s Your #1? WWE Releases Weekly Power Rankings

Power to the wrestlers. At some point, every wrestling fan has had some kind of a debate about which wrestler is better. This is as old as the wrestling business itself and will be around forever. Sometimes you get something interesting out of these arguments but it’s rare to have the wrestling companies actually give their own stance outside of the title picture. It happens every now and then though and WWE has done it again.
On its Instagram page, WWE has released its latest weekly Power Rankings. The company releases these every now and then, normally with their bigger versions coming out after the Big Four pay per views. The rankings include both superstars from Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live with both male and female wrestlers along with a tag team. These are dated through this week’s SmackDown Live.

Video: 5 Superstars With The Most Championships

He who has the gold has a spot on the list. There are a lot of things that matter in wrestling but championships are always near the top. Almost all wrestling feuds are based around titles in one way or another and they’ll always mean a lot in professional wrestling. In recent years titles have become a lot more common though with all kinds of championships being added to the available options. So who has the most of them?
WWE has released a new episode of List This looking at 5 Superstars with the Most Championships. The list mainly consists of more modern wrestlers, mainly due to the amount of titles being added in recent years. Of the five wrestlers listed, none of them are full time anymore though three of them are still semi-active. The Hardcore Title is specifically not included in this list.
There’s a lot of gold in there.

Major Update Regarding Alexa Bliss’ Health Status Amidst Retirement Rumors

Over the last month, Alexa Bliss has been sidelined by a concussion. A lot of people have become impatient with the lack of a return date for her. More recently, there have been rumors of Alexa taking a significant time off from in-ring action to become the General Manager of Raw once Baron Corbin’s run in the role finally comes to an end after TLC.
Despite the rumors and speculation, a report from RingSideNews shared some activity that Little Miss Bliss has had on social media recently. In the report, Bliss mockingly was surprised to learn of her “retirement” and claims that she’ll be returning to action in the near future. Unfortunately, there still isn’t a specific timetable for her in-ring return yet.

It’s time for a holiday show and in this case, that might not be the best thing in the world. The biggest story tonight is going to be the turkey suit match, which is one of those traditions that has been around here for years despite not many people seeming to be a fan of the thing. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
We open in the back with the tumbler containing the names available for the ten person tag. The captains, Fallah Bahh and Eli Drake, come in to talk about the match. Believe it or not, Drake is a little bit better in this area. The interviewer throws us to a video explaining the concept…which is last year’s match in its entirety.

Mark Henry Tells A Crazy Story About Ronda Rousey

She’s hardcore. There are very few things in athletics harder than winning an Olympic medal. It takes several years of dedication and training, as the competition is literally the best in the world. A few of them have made the move over to professional wrestling, including Ronda Rousey. That same toughness that helped earn her an Olympic medal in judo has helped her in other areas, as a new story explains.
Mark Henry was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio and told a story about Rousey undergoing treatment for an injury that involved having stem cells injected. Henry had undergone the same procedure and upon waking up, begged to be put back to sleep to avoid the pain. Rousey underwent the procedure while awake without anesthesia, which was enough for Henry to see her as one of the toughest people in the world. Here is Henry’s version of the story, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com:
“Maybe it’s not for me to tell this story, but I’ll let the cat out the bag. I heard, b..

Rumor: Is There Backstage Heat On The Usos?

It’s not easy being great. The Usos have kind of quietly turned into one of the best tag teams the WWE has ever had. They’ve won five Tag Team Titles and always seem to be right on the brink of getting them again, no matter what they’re doing. Having a good catchphrase and great charisma has helped them as well, but it turns out some people might not be happy with them.
According to Brad Shepard on his Oh. You Didn’t Know podcast, there is a chance that the Usos have backstage heat in WWE. The team is almost always on the Kickoff Show yet continue to have high quality performances against almost anyone. Shepard’s source didn’t confirm that there was heat, but also didn’t deny it when Shepard brought the topic up in the first place.
Here’s their latest effort on a Kickoff Show:

Opinion: I’m really not sure on this one. For one thing, the Usos were just the captains of the SmackDown Live Survivor Series team and one of the two teams that see..

A Fan Made A Rather Disparaging Sign About Nia Jax And Another Raw Superstar Liked It

A different kind of office drama. Earlier this month, Nia Jax made headlines by knocking Becky Lynch into the middle of next week with a right hand that not only broke a bone in Lynch’s face but also gave her a concussion which put her on the shelf for the foreseeable future. This hasn’t been the most well received action in the world (to put it mildly) and one of Jax’s co-workers seems to agree.
According to Ringsidenews.com, a fan recently brought a sign to Monday Night Raw which took a severe shot at Jax, saying that she was being booed because she was horrible, not because of her superior heel work. A photo of the sign appeared on Twitter, which was apparently liked by Sasha Banks. You can see the tweet below and here is what the sign said:
“Nia! I feel compelled to stress that we are not booing because of your effective heel work! We are booing because you are simply awful!”

Update On The Main Roster Plans For Lars Sullivan

The monster among us. On Sunday at Survivor Series, a video aired showing that Lars Sullivan was coming up to the main roster from NXT. It wasn’t clear whether Sullivan would be appearing on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live, though either way it was obvious that he was going to wreck havoc. Now, we might know just how much havoc that might include.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sullivan is in line for a big push when he reaches the main roster. At the moment, it isn’t known which brand Sullivan will appear on or who he will be feuding with first, but he was pushed as a nearly unstoppable monster in NXT and a similar push should be expected on the main roster. Sullivan is scheduled to face Keith Lee on this week’s NXT in what could be his last match on the brand.
That monster is scary.

Opinion: Sullivan may not be one of a kind, but he’s a few of a kind at worst. He’s got an incredible look and is crazy strong, bu..

Mixed Match Challenge
Date: November 20, 2018
Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California
Commentators: Michael Cole, Renee Young, Vic Joseph
We’ve actually arrived at a turning point here with the last night of the regular season. After tonight we move into the playoffs, which should make things a little bit better. Unfortunately we’re getting the four winless teams battling it out for a spot in the final four, because going 1-3 is good enough to get a spot in the playoffs. Let’s get to it.
The announcers talk about the prizes.
Raw Division: Alicia Fox/Jinder Mahal vs. Bobby Roode/Natalya The losers are out and the Singh Brothers are all banged up from Brock Lesnar destroying them last week. The guys start things off and the fans are behind Bobby in what feels like a rare occurrence. Roode shakes off a wristlock and starts chopping away but can’t hit the Glorious DDT. It’s off to the women with Fox getting caught in a slingshot atomic drop, minus Natalya sticking her knee out..
