The Miz And Maryse Announce That They Are Having A Second Child

The A-lister is getting it done one more time! Tonight at the 2019 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, The Miz and Shane McMahon defended their Smackdown Live Tag Team championships against The Usos.
But before the match, The Miz brought out his wife Maryse and they had a very special announcement for the crowd:
They are having another baby!
As if #WWEChamber wasn't MUST-SEE already…@mikethemiz & @MaryseMizanin just announced MIZ BABY #2 IS ON THE WAY!!! pic.twitter.com/Cp1XvNsCgd

Unfortunately, the greatest tag team in the world came up short, as Miz and Shane lost their titles to The Usos in a tough contest.

That’s awesome! I’m sure that there is no coincidence between this announcement being made right around the time that promotion of new episodes of the hit reality show, Miz and Mrs., have been..

Who Were Crowned The Inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions?

It had been previously reported that the WWE would make history one more time at the 2019 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, as the company would crown the inaugural Women’s Tag Team champions on a match of the same name.
But who were the victors of this historic match?
After a grueling contest, Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Nia Jax and Tamina, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, The IIconics, Naomi and Carmella, and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to have the honor of being called the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The Riott Squad tried to lay siege to the WWE NOW set earlier in the night; you can see a clip of that below:

I had a feeling that this would happen, and these are the two women that should be the inaugural champions. Sasha Banks and Bayley have..

Elimination Chamber 2019 Live Coverage And Results

Elimination Chamber 2019
Date: February 17, 2019
Location: Toyota Center, Houston, Texas
Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Renee Young, Tom Phillips, Percy Watson
It’s the first of two stops on the Road to Wrestlemania and that means we’ll be seeing a big steel structure. In this case it’s for the WWE Championship and the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. The structure alone makes this a little more interesting and hopefully it’s good on top of that. Let’s get to it.
Kickoff Show: Cruiserweight Title: Buddy Murphy vs. Akira Tozawa Murphy is defending and they start fast with a battle over the wristlock. The fight heads outside with Tozawa ducking a chop to send Murphy’s hand into the post. Murphy is fine enough to drop him on the floor for an eight count and let’s go to the back for an interview with Kofi Kingston. Well actually with Xavier Woods and Big E. as Kofi is undergoing a maple syrup massage.
Tozawa gets caught in a backbreaker and a chinlock as Xavier talks ab..

Elimination Chamber 2019 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

It’s time for the first of two stops on the way towards WrestleMania 35, because for some reason there are two pay per views between the Royal Rumble and the biggest show of the year. First up we have Elimination Chamber, though I’m not sure you would know that after this week’s Monday Night Raw, which mainly focused on WrestleMania. There is however a pay per view card to look at, with a pair of major matches. Let’s get to it.
Kickoff Show: Cruiserweight Title: Buddy Murphy(c) vs. Akira Tozawa Was anyone realistically expecting this to be on the main show? The Cruiserweight Title is all but guaranteed to be on the Kickoff Show anymore, though I can go for the idea of having them get a little extra time so things can be fleshed out. Tozawa won a four way match on 205 Live to earn the shot against Murphy, who is becoming quite the top level Cruiserweight Champion.
I’m thinking that’s enough to keep the title on Murphy, who seems almost guaranteed to have a major title match at Wrestle..

Breaking Video: All Elite Wrestling Officially Announced, Including First Event

And there you have it. Over the last few weeks, one of the biggest stories has been the possibility of All Elite Wrestling being brought to live. The promotion, run by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks, has been teased for weeks now with names for events and shows, but it wasn’t clear if the idea was actually going to get off the ground. With a new year comes new details though, and now we know a lot.
Well this is big. Check out the announcement:

On the latest episode of Being The Elite, which debuted at midnight pacific coast time on January 1, 2019, Rhodes, the Young Bucks and Adam Page officially announced All Elite Wrestling and their first event called Double Or Nothing. There are no more details at this time such as a location or a date, though there is a good chance that more information will come out on the next episode of the show.
Opinion: You had to know this was coming and they picked a good time to drop the news. Wrestling isn’t..

Several More Names Announced For Royal Rumble Match

Another bunch for the pile. Last year, WWE debuted a match that was both long awaited and long overdue: the women’s Royal Rumble match. Just like the men’s version, thirty women joined into the match and competed for a title shot at the upcoming WrestleMania. The first event was won by Asuka and the second edition has been announced. Now we just need to fill in the lineup.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a good chunk of the roster for the match was filled as seven names were confirmed to be competing. During a six woman tag, it was announced that Bayley, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan were all going to be taking part in the match. On the same show, Natalya was confirmed for the match as well. These seven join Carmella, who will be entering the match in the #30 spot.
Several of the women were very excited. Check out what three of them had to say:

Hang On A Second. Rumor: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar May Not Be Set For WrestleMania 35.

The countdown is on. We’re about three months away from WrestleMania 35 and that means it’s more than early enough to start speculating on the card. While nothing has officially been announced, there are various matches that you can probably pencil in already. One of those would seem to be the Universal Title match, but it might not be as simple as it seems.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, there is a chance that the Universal Title match might not be champion Brock Lesnar defending against Seth Rollins. While the match has yet to be announced, Rollins has mentioned Lesnar several times on recent editions of Monday Night Raw, saying that he wants to face him. Lesnar is currently scheduled to defend the title against Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble.
Rollins certainly had something to say about Lesnar this week. Check out his fired up promo from Monday Night Raw:

Changing Hats. Update On Alexa Bliss’ Role On Monday Night Raw.

It was a good ride. A few weeks back, the McMahon Family returned and officially took over WWE again. That meant the removal of all General Managers from their authority roles, which meant a lot of things were changing in a hurry. For one thing, Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live General Managers Baron Corbin and Paige were gone, but there was one more loose end to tie up.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss confirmed that she was no longer in charge of the women’s division. Bliss only held the job for a few weeks, being given the role by Corbin while she was on the shelf with an injury. As a result of her losing the position, Bliss will be starting her own talk show segment called A Moment of Bliss, with the first episode airing next week and featuring Ronda Rousey as her guest.
Who better than Bliss to explain it? Here’s Bliss’ announcement of the big change:

WWE Has A Lot In Store For Next Week’s Monday Night Raw

It’s a busy one. With the last Monday Night Raw of 2018 in the books, it’s time to move on to the new year. That typically means a big show to kick things off, with a title match, a big return or something else that you don’t usually get. WWE likes to get things going well and the fact that it’s going up against the College Football Playoff title game might help things a bit. So what’s on tap?
This week on Monday Night Raw, a host of announcements were made for next week’s show. These include appearances by Brock Lesnar and John Cena, the return of Braun Strowman, and a Tag Team Title match with the Revival challenging Chad Gable and Bobby Roode. Strowman has been out of action with a shoulder injury and Lesnar hasn’t appeared on Monday Night Raw since November. This will be Cena’s first appearance on the show since April.
He’s back. Check out Strowman’s impressive 2018:

Is Seth Rollins Primed for a Return to WWE Raw’s Top Spot?

Seth Rollins came face to face with Triple H on the December 31 edition of Monday Night Raw. The Kingslayer and The Game had words after Rollins demanded his Intercontinental Championship rematch against Dean Ambrose. Hunter said no and that he wanted much more from Seth. Rollins reminded Triple H, as well as the rest of the world, that he had been carrying the program over the past 12 months. But then Seth said precisely what many fans wanted to hear. Rollins said he would take out Brock Lesnar and his Universal Championship. It’s a statement that had to be made at some point. Now that it’s been said, what are the chances that Seth Rollins is indeed headed to the very top of Monday Night Raw?
One key issue for fans to remember is that the red brand’s top spot is the company’s top spot. That’s because both belong to Roman Reigns. The Big Dog may be on the shelf right now but he will be back eventually. The only question is, will WWE move forward with someone else in Roman’s place unti..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – December 31, 2018

Monday Night Raw
Date: December 31, 2018
Location: Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, Michigan
Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Renee Young
We’re taped this week for the second time in a row, which has to be the first time in at least several years, assuming two of the UK shows didn’t take place back to back at some point. The big deal tonight is a cage match between Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, because that was a story that needed to go on for the better part of nine months, assuming it ends tonight. Let’s get to it.
The cage is lowered to start.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Drew McIntyre In a cage with pinfall, submission or escape to win. Ziggler has lost the record scratch at the start of his song. An early escape attempt doesn’t work for Ziggler and Drew chops the heck out of him. That and a delayed vertical suplex are enough to put Dolph down for some writhing on the mat.
Dolph’s early comeback is cut off by the Glasgow Kiss but he catches Drew on top. That means a series of ra..

Main Event Results – December 27, 2018

Main Event
Date: December 27, 2018
Host: Scott Stanford
It’s another one of these recap shows this week…and I need to be more specific on that one. In this case there isn’t any original wrestling, though that’s to be expected when they had two shows taped in a single night. That’s probably best given the circumstances and the show was such a breeze last week. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Stanford welcomes us to the show in the studio.
From Raw.
Elias vs. Bobby Lashley Miracle on 34th Street Fight so there are weapons around the ring, including Christmas trees. Lashley fires off shoulders in the corner to start until they head outside with Elias hitting him with a Christmas tree. Elias knocks him down again and we take a break. Back with Lio Rush helping put Elias in trouble and Lashley loads up a present. They come back in with Lashley throwing him in an overhead belly to belly and pouring out….Legos.
