Watch: Sting’s WCW World Championship Victories

The Icon has that name for a reason. WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube channel in which they show all of the televised WCW World Heavyweight Championship victories by Hall of Famer, Sting.
You can see the video in its entirety below:

The world title victories are as follows:
Ric Flair, Great American Bash, 1990 Lex Luger, Superbrawl II, 1992 Ravishing Rick Rude, Spring Stampede, 1994 Vader, Slamboree, 1994 Hollywood Hogan, Starrcade 1997 Hollywood Hogan, Superbrawl VIII, 1998 Diamond Dallas Page, Monday Nitro, 1999 Hulk Hogan, Fall Brawl, 1999 Editor’s Opinion:
Watching this video brought back a lot of memories. I remember hearing Jim Ross call matches for WCW back when I was growing up, and understanding what I do now about professional wrestling, it still brings back a great deal of nostalgia. Sting was always one of my favorite WCW superstars, and it’s cool to see WWE acknowledging his accomplishments and I hope that they do ..

Watch: Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker From Wrestlemania 30

The night that the streak was over. WWE recently posted a new video to their YouTube channel in which they posted the full match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker from Wrestlemania 30. It was the night that The Beast ended the 21-0 undefeated streak of The Undertaker in Wrestlemania matches.
You can see the match in its entirety below:

From WWE.com:
Records are made to be broken.
Heroes fall. Legends fade. History is rewritten.
We’ve learned to accept these truths about many things in this world, but not The Undertaker’s Streak. It was WWE’s one constant — a decades-long unbeaten WrestleMania run that had never been done before, and will never be done again. Every year, The Deadman would face down a worthy adversary — be it Triple H, Shawn Michaels, his brother Kane — and every year he would add another number to his win column until it stood at a towering 21-0.
The Undertaker’s match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania was meant..

Photographic Rumor: Two Top WWE Stars May Be Dating.

Royal Rumbles make for romance? Wrestling is a weird place as you have people running all over the country (and the world) due to how hectic their schedules are. It’s not out of the question to have the top WWE stars working 250 dates a year, which can make for some rough patches as far as having personal lives. It turns out that two people might be able to make it work.
According to Ringsidenews.com, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch may be dating. The two have been seen at a variety of places outside of WWE, along with Rollins showing up at a SmackDown Live house show about 100 miles from his home in Iowa. Neither has made any comment on this and there is of course the chance that this is merely just a coincidence between two people who work together.
Everyone out there wondering if Seth and Becky are dating while I'm over here wondering what she's reading on her phone ??? pic.twitter.com/qod2LPYP2m

Video: Bodycam Footage Of Jimmy Uso’s Arrest Released

Not so crazy? Last month, Jimmy Uso was arrested for disorderly conduct in Detroit, Michigan when a car driven by his wife Naomi was pulled over for going the wrong way down a one way street. Uso allegedly got out of the card and got in the officer’s face, though he eventually calmed down and was arrested. It was quite the story, and now there’s more to it.
Detroit’s WDIV (NBC news station) has released police bodycam footage of the incident, which shows both Naomi and Uso on the night of the arrest. While the footage isn’t shown in full, there are clips of Uso in handcuffs and in the back seat of the car while arguing with the officers. However, there is no footage of Uso “squaring up” to the officer, which is mentioned in the video but said not to have been recorded. Officers also spoke to Naomi, who was allowed to go.
There’s quite a bit here. Check out the report with the footage included:

A Different Direction. There Were Other Plans In Place For Rey Mysterio At WrestleMania.

The more things change, the more they change. Earlier this week, Rey Mysterio announced that he would be challenging United States Champion Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35. Mysterio has never held the title so there was already a built in story. However, there was another story that was originally planned for the show which might have tied into things a bit better.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plans for WrestleMania 35 saw Mysterio facing Andrade in a mask vs. hair match. The two have been feuding for a few months now and have both tried to win the United States Title on multiple occasions. There is no known reason for why the plans were change, nor are there any current plans for Andrade on the show.
This is the kind of thing they could do. Check out their first major showdown:

Opinion: I’m not sure we’re done with this story year as the Mysterio vs. Andrade match is something that has a lot of merit. Maybe th..

He’s Not Dead Yet. We Have The Details On Undertaker’s Next WWE Match.

He just keeps going. The Undertaker might be the most famous character in wrestling history. There is no one like him who has been able to play the same kind of role for so many years and remain popular. You’ll often hear about someone trying to be a company’s Undertaker but no one has ever come close to matching him. He’s been going in WWE for nearly thirty years and now we know where he’ll be showing up next.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Undertaker’s next match will be taking place at the upcoming Saudi Arabia show on May 3. There is no word on who Undertaker will be facing or what the show will be called, but Undertaker is set for the show. This confirms that Undertaker is not retired from either the ring or the company, though at the moment he is not scheduled for WrestleMania 35.
Undertaker has been in Saudi Arabia before. Check out this match you might have forgotten:

Now That Has Potential. Matt Hardy Pushing For A Very Different Kind Of Story (With Multiple Characters).

A flashback worth the time. A few years ago, Matt Hardy’s Broken Matt character took Impact Wrestling by storm and made him the hottest act in wrestling for a little while. The character eventually made its way to WWE and became a hit as well, due to Hardy’s ability to sell the heck out of the character. Now though, we might be in for three times the insanity going forward.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hardy is pitching a storyline to WWE that would see him appear as four different characters at the same time ala the Three Faces of Foley. The characters would include Woken Matt, Big Money Matt (which was hinted at earlier this week), Matt Hardy V1 and regular Matt Hardy, which he has used in recent weeks. There is no word on if the story will begin or if it will be taking place whatsoever.
In case you don’t remember. Check out Big Money Matt:

KB’s Review: A Gold Medal Career

I’m a big fan of the Steve Austin Show, as it’s cool to hear from the biggest star of all time. That gives him a certain credibility that few others can have and it means that he’s a bit more worth listening to than some others. If there’s one thing that he enjoys doing, it’s praising Kurt Angle as one of the best performers he’s ever seen. The following exchange sums up Austin’s thoughts on him quite well:
Indy wrestler, talking about one of his friends: “He took to wrestling really fast. He was kind of a natural.”
Austin: “Hang on. Was this friend Kurt Angle?”
Indy wrestler: “No.”
Austin: “Then he’s not a natural, because Kurt Angle is the only natural in the history of wrestling.”
While that might be a bit of hyperbole, it shows you just how revered Angle is. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Angle announced his impending retirement from professional wrestling after nearly twenty years in the ring. His final match is going to take place against WrestleMania 35 and that’s really qu..

NXT Live Coverage And Results – March 20, 2019

NXT
Date: March 20, 2019
Location: Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida
Commentators: Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness, Percy Watson
We’re on the final taping cycle with three shows left before Takeover: New York. Last week’s big story saw Johnny Gargano finally outsmart Tommaso Ciampa after DIY was eliminated from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Unfortunately a neck injury is going to put Ciampa on the shelf for a long time so now we have to find out what is being done to replace the most obvious title change ever. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Here’s HHH to get things going and he’s got the NXT Title. After a HHH chant, HHH talks about how this place is special because dreams can become a reality. For some, the dreams start here but for others it takes years. Sometimes, that dream gets derailed in the blink of an eye. He was supposed to be out here to announce Johnny Gargano challenging Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Title in the main event of Takeover: New York. The trut..

The End Of An Era. WWE Making Major Move.

The end of an era. WWE has a complicated history. There are various things that they have done over the years that have become iconic and others that are never to be discussed again. Throughout the history, there are a few things that are able to stand the test of time and have never really changed. That’s the case with a certain place for the company, but now even that is changing.
As announced in a press release, WWE is moving to a new headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and selling Titan Towers. The company will be moving to a new location in the same city in early 2021, with a sixteen and a half year lease starting on July 1 of this year. Part of the idea of the move is to have the production studios and corporate offices under one roof, as opposed to the separate buildings they are in now.
This is the most famous footage of the building. Check out this famous Super Bowl ad:

NXT UK Results – March 20, 2019

NXT UK
Date: March 20, 2019
Location: Coventry Skydome Arena, Coventry, England
Commentators: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness
Things are getting very interesting around here as Walter made it clear that he’s coming for the UK Title. Last week saw Walter and champion Pete Dunne defeat the Coffey Brothers, but the big story was after the match when Walter stood on the title. That could make for an instant classic in New York so hopefully they go with the obvious move. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Johnny Saint and Sid Scala are in the ring with a big announcement: Pete Dunne will defend the United Kingdom Title at Takeover: New York. An opponent isn’t named but here’s Dunne to interrupt. Dunn: “GIVE ME WALTER.” The fans certainly like the idea but Dunne leaves before anything is said.
Toni Storm isn’t worried about Jinny but they both love gold. Jinny doesn’t like her because Toni makes her work for once. They’ll deal with things later. Toni leaves and Rhea Ripley comes in with a c..

The New Day Contemplating “Quitting” WWE: What Happens Now? (VIDEO)

Kofi Kingston came extremely close to realizing his WrestleMania dreams but at the very last moment, they were ripped away from him. The 11-year veteran ran the Gauntlet on the March 19 edition of SmackDown Live, wining all five announced matches. Sheamus, Cesaro, Samoa Joe and Randy Orton were all pinned and Erick Rowan lost by disqualification. Kofi did everything he was asked to do and in the end, it wasn’t good enough. That’s because of the unannounced match against WWE champion Daniel Bryan, which Kingston lost. Once again, Vince McMahon has ruined everything for Kofi and The New Day. But now there’s a new twist to the story.
Big E took to Twitter on March 20 and voiced his frustrations. He was sincere, he was serious and most importantly, he was very believable. In an environment in which everyone watching knows they’re getting worked, this promo significantly blurred the lines between fact and fiction.
But then again, that’s what WWE strives for these days. Kayfabe has been r..
